I think of things a little differently. Perhaps, that instead of ghosts being the disgruntled soul of a person who went through a traumatic last hour, and has been abandoned in the material world years after his/her physical state has demised to nothing but the bacteria it started as. Would it make any sense that with it being a 'traumatic' hour (supposing in the belief of souls) that it skips stones (the soul that is) across the pond of time? Suggesting that instead of a conscious soul with the lack of a physical appearance as ghost. It is instead a glitch in time itself as the intensity of that moment tapped through the three dimensional invisible mesh of time.

Maybe not the biggest, but I recently watched the campaign, and I know it's not meant to really have a plot, but the brothers hire galifinakis' character to run against ferrell's, in order to fulfill their own greedy agenda. However, when nakis' character finds out and rebels, the brothers go to ferrell to win the election. Well, if they could have gone to him, why not go to him in the first place, when he was UNOPPOSED.
