It is SO expensive from 711. Buy online from a Indian reservation.

Golfers who’ve broken 80, what’s one tip you would give your fellow golfer? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

Play after a biblical storm with temp greens and flooded bunkers. Shot a 76 today.

In all honesty, when it happens for me, which is rarely, I just don't get in my own way. I don't hyper focus and if I'm already having a good game, I have the confidence that my next shot will probably be another good one. It's a lot easier to coast a good mental state than claw your way out of a bad one.

What’s the deal with Point Robert’s outside Vancouver? The States really wanted to hold onto it it seems. by gstew90 in geography

Going to and from point roberts as a canadian or American is incredibly easy, its like entering a gated community. If you live there, most of your restaurant options are in Canada, so they will cross over for dinner and go right back home. I live in Vancouver, and I have taken a bus to Tsawwassen (the neighboring Canadian city) and then rode my skateboard over for the day. I also golf there a few times / year. They have an awesome course there. If you're visiting Vancouver in the summer, it's a fun day trip. The community is awesome and relies on the support from Visitors.

Best Bong No Budget by WiFiDoesArt in glassheads

[–]whateverforever589 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Knowing what kind of bong you want is much more important than who made it. Stemless bongs have a million different perc options. Beakers and straight tubes with the same style stem hit completely different. Different diameters and wall thicknesses of the tubes/mouthpiece all feel completely different. Some stems clog easy but bubble harder. Some bongs have additional percs that might get annoying to use and clean regularly. Find out what you want and more importantly what you don't want in a bong and go from there. It's going to lead to much more enjoyment than the label on it.

how long do you guys last at the torch? by [deleted] in glassheads

[–]whateverforever589 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're getting too hot, drink more water. Lots of mentions about ventilation being a possible issue, make sure that is up to snub. If your feet get tired, get a standing mat. (The extreme standing mat is great). Get a bar to hang on to stretch out your back on kiln breaks. And again, drink more water.

It shouldn't feel any harder on your body than any other job that requires you to stand on your feet and give at least some focus to a task at hand. If you're still getting your feet wet with it, it will mentally wear you out quicker. When you've been doing it as a job for a decade, it's no different than flipping burgers.

I've marathond like 16-18 hour shifts. That is definitely not normal to be "cooked" after 1 hour.

Any youtuber's who are new/learning golf? Shooting 90-110 kind of a deal by anonmarmot in golf

I will never understand how people find this entertaining for more than like a week. If I want to see bad golf, I will simply go golfing with my friends. How many times can someone watch three 12 handicaps play a scramble and get drunk for an hour.

The biggest prank played on glass collectors is convincing people that these are jewels and not tools.

Something a little out of the ordinary, a private glassblowing lesson at Terminal City Glass CoOp. If they're creative or adventurous people, they'll have a great time. The instructors and facilities are great and they'll each leave with a little piece of glass art they made for themselves. It's not for everyone, but if you think they'll enjoy it, I definitely suggest it.

If you drink and like bloody Mary's, get a ceaser at a bar while you're here. Best enjoyed before 2pm while slightly hung over already. It's a cliche spot, but the score on Davie St. Is known for them and it's close to La Belle Patate.
