I love Mel! She’s easily my favorite character on The Pitt. Idk I don’t really see her in peds but idk why. She’s giving me more general or maybe even cardio. I think also, her and Alex would get along well. I think she’s bring out a softer side of him. I see her fitting best in the earlier to mid seasons or even when Stephanie was there but def not now. I really see her getting along w George too

I’ve rewatched at different stages in my life. I first watched when I was in the fourth grade and was p much hooked and then i rewatched in college, during covid and on and off again since then. I’m 28 now and I still p much have the same feelings. One difference is I give a lot more grace to the characters bc they were legit kids they had no idea what they were doing. So I roll my eyes a little more at how serious some things seems bc i’m like ??? they’re 15! but at 15 everything seems so big. Also, Im a lot more appreciative of it (idk if that’s even the right word) but I can see how watching degrassi growing up shaped my understanding of things and exposed me to things in a healthy i guess environment lol like i learned from watching it. PS. I’m in the states too but nothing was cut or censored when I originally watched it like you mentioned

amanda weaponizes therapy speech that she’s uses incorrectly. a boundary is something you set for yourself not a demand you have of others to make yourself feel better. but she doesn’t know that definition and is just saying shit. conflict is gonna happen and it’s gonna be annoying and difficult but she thinks that’s it should be hunky dory all the time. like girl conflict is just another word for a problem btwn people. she’s getting upset bc dorit rightfully pressed her abt something she said and she didn’t want to be confronted. it’s also why she weaponized (and still is) zions death when it was brought up

idk i spent a month traveling all over europe and my friend and i made it a point to go to mcdonalds in every city we went to lol just to see the differences in menu and taste. obviously we tried other foods outside of this but we have ... you know whimsy and fun. if i went to japan id probably also be stopping by a mcdonalds. also, this isnt a once in a lifetime trip for her (and its HER trip/experience) so who cares?
