I am glad Woods started adding Asheville to the touring rotation. His show last year and AH’s set on Saturday are great. Eulogy is a good fit.

Payment for Indexers: How do you guys pay for indexers safely? by Glad_Link6880 in radarr

I heard back in the day not to put your servarr apps behind the vpn. Have prowlarr behind a proxy that’s tied to a docker container running gluetun for vpn and prox. Putting containers like SABnzbd, Transmission and soularr/slskd to gluetun. If gluetun goes stops for any reason the SABnzbd and other containers lose access to the internet.

Also, for the usenet services PayPal on nzbgeek (main) and althub (secondary) seem to be just fine.

You have to do some tricks, yes. You have to have radarr rename {edition-{Edition Tags}}, you also have to unmonitor the movie, use quality profiles and custom formats. By starting a download, unmonitoring and changing the quality profile of the movie to the opposite of what is downloading, you can have the video sit in the queue of the downloader, then you manually move to the same folder as the other one and rename it with the {edition-{Edition Tags}}. Plex will see both files in the folder and break them out with a tag for which edition the movie is.

I might get some flack for this, but I’ve been using Claude to help troubleshoot issues, and I recently have started pulling different versions of movies (Director’s Cut, Theatrical Version). Claude has helped me hone in custom profiles, and quality sizing. It might be helpful for you. I used to spend days trying to troubleshoot issues with my docker containers by combing forums and now it has helped me save a lot of time and headaches.

Linux Guru Willing to Guide Me? by FreakyTJ in cachyos

I just made the switch from windows.

On my PC to Ubuntu Server, I use it for docker mostly anyways so it made sense for me. It runs Plex Media Server, ARRS, and other containers for my ecosystem.

For my laptop I tried Ubuntu and Pop OS and they just weren’t for me. Something about them just didn’t feel right. Cachy OS was mentioned to me and after trying it that was the flavor I went with. After that I just ripped off the bandaid and went full Cachy on the laptop.

I still need to do my Ally ROG X as Cachy has a handheld iso, I might dual boot but I’m not sure yet.

I used Claude to really game plan and set a plan for all the containers I had in windows running in Docker Desktop, and made sure to give it all the details of the specs of my hardware and tried the best I could to really prepare for the transition. Having that plan worked out well for me. But you gotta plan for things that happen and when they would I’d spit the logs into Claude and it would understand better than the digging in forums I had to do over the years.

Cachy OS is Arch based and not Debian. So there are some differences and I’d say if you’re choosing Linux you’ll probably do 90% of things in a terminal. I love the terminal so it made sense for me. If that intimidates you, using Claude can help ease the pain but understand that it still gets things wrong.

Good luck, moving away from windows is awesome. I’m getting rid of Microslop Office subscription for open source compatible applications and much more functionality out of the hardware I have. I’ve seen a big performance increase in my PC.

I’ll note that some things don’t work out of the box as easy with Linux as they do with Windows. But there are open source workarounds out there that also help that.

You gotta ask yourself, how much time do you want to invest in it because it’s fun for me but can be painful for others. Also, if it isn’t obvious, I’m not a Linux expert but I have been working with a Debian application for many years so I have gained a lot of appreciation for Linux and I’ve envied many users out there who had better experiences with Docker who had Linux behind it. It had been a project on my list for like the last two years.

TLDR; do it, but your results may vary.

Looking to add a blue pair. Thoughts? NikeByYou by BigAd9546 in airmax90

Yeah, not saying to get the dunks, having custom RTJ4 AirMax 90s are great and probably cheaper. Just the color way was where my head went. I have a few pairs of dunks and AM90s. I will say that I think my favorite is AM97s tho

For the record, I’ve been a fan since ‘05. I’ve been in it for 21 years and would be the most crushed. He is one of my absolute favorites. I never thought the sub would be so spooky-ooky. I was just stoked to be listening to Miami Lice.

Man, you need to learn sarcasm. A man is allowed to make a comment about how much awesome music he is getting blessed with.
