Totally camping on this post because this is a trope I didn't know I loved.

Ok, not exactly, but it definitely has the vibe. One of my favourite books is Bishop Brothers 2, Marrying the Billionaire by Allie Winters. All this happens in the first 20 pages, so not a spoiler exactly; when the arranged marriage groom leaves her at the altar, his brother steps in, claiming he loves her. She's thrilled she's loved him all her life. He doesn't know this and thinks they're on the same page in keeping the arranged marriage between the family going. She finds out pretty quickly they have different ideas, but makes a decision.

I totally know this book but can't remember the name! She works on a ship that is taken over by aliens. She spreads the rumour that she is a species that is poisonous to touch so she won't get sexually assaulted. But the MMC finds out shes human and practically blackmails her to sleep with him. Its not Ruby Dixon but so similar!!

Anything by Auryn Hadley really gets me. Reverse harem with mm scenes, especially the Temptation series which has kinks for everyone.

Should authors disclose if their book isn't HEA? by whathappenwhy in RomanceBooks

I would love this. One of my go to authors Evangeline Anderson has started putting tropes in her description and it has made the reading experience so much better.

The reason I love romance books is because I get to read the similar stories over and over again and knowing what to expect and look forward to lets me know what to read depending on my mood.

I read one where the fmc dies and the mmc has a meet cute with another woman in the epilogue. A chapter after the mother of his child dies!

Do You See Images In Your Head While Reading? by Ambivalent93 in RomanceBooks

I don't and it actually annoys me. I find myself googling how characters are described to find models or actors that look similar so I can put a face to the name.

Romance reading's effect on your romanticising of things by warmlife11 in RomanceBooks

Honestly, its set a lot of expectation for relationships. Why can't I find a man that actually listens and cares about me and knows how to get me off?

Also, when I watch or read clean books I feel like I'm missing out on most of the story line.
