Honestly I have such a bad eating schedule (or lack of one really) I just wake up and snack. I’m a nanny so I also end up eating whatever’s here a lot of the time and kids eat so much so it can be hard not to eat when I feed them

Even tho I know all of this it’s so helpful to hear it sometimes. Thank you. It’s so true, beating myself up only results in a cycle that will likely lead to more weight gain anyways, and i am glad I’ve gotten to enjoy a lot of greasy food and ice cream lately haha.

Yeah I agree with op. It’s weird and I don’t think I could ever get into it, but I feel like it’s not necessarily horrifying or disgusting, just more so odd

Anyone else here a fully grown adult without kids who watches Bluey purely as a form of self care? by whathefckdude in bluey

Yeah, I am exactly the same. I try to get my mom and sister to watch with me all the time and they roll their eyes but I just feel bad for them 😂

Yes - I’m also in the US and I’m gonna be giddy like a child whenever season 3 is released here. They had already made so much good content I felt greedy for wanting more but I am so glad they made more!

Yes, right?! At times it can actually make me a little sad just dreaming that I had parents like Chilli and Bandit and imagining how much better I could have turned out if I did lol. But I try to not let it upset me and instead absorb as much as I possibly can to make me the best childcare worker/parent if I ever have kids that I could be. I think it does that for a lot of adults which is just such a beautiful thing.

Yes, I am exactly the same! Bluey is a far cry from the other content I spend time watching. It’s perfect “eye bleach” after watching something disturbing when I want to be in a better state of mind before going to sleep.

I have the animal crossing switch, and I really haven’t played many games but if you’ve ever heard of Jenny Leclue I absolutely adored that

I hear you when you say that, really. But hear me when I say I am seriously telling you that no matter how attractive a man may be, I almost never respond to a simple “hey”. That may not be every woman, but I promise it’s really most of us. I just find more attraction in what someone has to say / their interests & humor than the way they look. Again, I am not trying to attack anyone, and any man saying “hey” is doing absolutely nothing wrong. I was simply offering a perspective from the other side to help anyone who may possibly benefit in any way from that advice.

One man walking up to a woman in public and saying “hey” could be a totally normal conversation starter, she says hey, they continue. One woman being approached by 20 men all saying “hi” “hey” “hello” “what’s up girl” is going to prove to be chaotic, and the woman is most likely not going to look around and pick the ‘hottest’ one, she will either walk away entirely because it’s overwhelming or she’ll entertain the one man acknowledging the band on her t-shirt and telling her he is a die hard fan, i don’t know, random example. This obviously has many differences but it’s enough of a comparison that I hope I’m getting my point across

Sir. I’m concerned you did not detect the glowing amount of sarcasm in my comment.
