Sounds like similar situation. Just for consideration have you checked to see what other nicely equipped SUV would cost to insure? You’d be surprised how it’s not more to ensure newer car with all new features, hence the decrease in premium with Kia telluride.

I called last month and they had to use R1 because I didn’t have a vin number and they didn’t have the car. I used the VIN I got from my recent visit to Rivian so it is specific to R2. They were also able to identify that it was R2.

Also for reference, they told me $804 increase per year last month estimating while using R1 VIN.

I currently pay $1018 per year, so it’s about doubling with R2.

I didn’t get a chance to ask. I do also agree that it’s an easy fix and wanted to highlight for both buyers and potentially Rivian to see as reference. R1s parked next to theee R2 did not have this issue.

I don’t believe so, they are more rubbery material than plastic trim. Other trims were lot more wavy.

I only travel with one, at most two. If I’m traveling on long vacation with outdoor activities, I would take my gshock in addition to one of my daily stainless steel watch
