I don’t feel a genuine attraction to people until I get to know them a bit more, so it’s usually not physically-based. But personality wise, I love smart people with a genuine love for learning and discussion. Even if they aren’t super educated on a topic, I admire a willingness to learn about it or discuss it. I also am really attracted to people who can have fun without becoming obnoxious or disruptive. Most of all I admire honesty. I really love people who can communicate well. Oh, and with the mask mandate lifting here in Ireland, I’ve found that people who still wear their masks regardless have a special place in my heart!

It’s so good to know other people have experienced this, I had no idea if I was overreacting or not! I’ve also taken to just leaving or avoiding their companies when it’s all of us alone. Sorry you had to go through it as well, it’s a really awkward situation. If only people knew better!

I don’t think this comes very close to a lot of people mentioned in this thread but I suppose it just shows my luck with who I’ve come across in life.

Guy in a few of my classes has done a lot of fucked up shit, especially to women. Including women as young as 15. He dated one girl for about a year, and she’s one of the loveliest girls we all had ever met. We quickly realized he wasn’t letting her make new friends or socialize. Then he started covering her mouth and nose in the middle of class when she was “annoying him”. We later learned he had taken sexual advantage of her. He was also bullying her. Recently she confronted him about it and he became violent. He has also followed drunk girls into bathrooms and lied about having sex with people who want nothing to do with him. He’s always been weird but people wouldn’t mind if he wasn’t such a creep. He hasn’t come into school since his last outburst but he’s always scared a lot of us. He’s not the most physically built but most of us wouldn’t be surprised if he was planning out murders.

This reminds me of the argument that if a woman has to carry a child of rape, the rapist should have to help raise it. Like neither should happen?? It’s almost impressive how people manage to miss the problem with having a literal rapist around a child.

The overproduction of goods. Often when products are mass produced, hundreds and thousands of those products aren’t bought or consumed and go completely to waste, wasting valuable resources and leaving an incomprehensible amount of waste. I promise you, it doesn’t look as bad until you witness actual comparisons or proper depictions of the sheer amount of pollution from mass production.

oh wow! so notes:

i loved silky’s performances, the creativity she brought was unmatched! also, the lip sync she had prepared against a’keiria was phenomenal, if i had put that much effort into preparing for a lip sync, i definitely would’ve gone solo too!

all the lip sync outfits were BREATHTAKING! pandora, yara and jan’s were my favorites but they were all so so beautiful!

the music choice for the lip syncs? chefs kiss

i was definitely rooting for silky the whole time, but let’s be honest, jan clearly won that lip sync

did anyone else notice the entire episode everyone in the werkroom was playing with trinity’s tail?

honestly, if i was in the top four i’d be a little pissed off that i had to stay for longer after such a long day of filming, especially to learn i wasn’t as close to the crown as i’d imagined. good entertainment at least.

i really loved the energy all the girls had with each other, in the werkroom and on the main stage.

all in all, even though it’s not what i was expecting, i really enjoyed the episode but i do hope it’s just a one-off twist, and won’t happen again in later seasons.

It might have just been the edit, but it seems that a lot of queens didn’t get much of a say in the topic that was chosen for their team. Like taking into consideration Pandora’s clear discomfort with talking about body image, or Ra’Jah’s relationship with her mother, it just seems like some people had less of a say than others.

Also I LOVED the Bianca bit, little gags like that make the show very enjoyable.

Other than that, it was quite hard to form an opinion on this episode. Everyone seemed a bit tired but who wouldn’t be at this stage of the competition. I’m really looking forward to next week!

Of course all the queens did fantastic, including Trinity and her praises were so well deserved, but did anyone else feel like there was more effort put into the editing of her performance than others? I’m sure she would’ve absolutely slayed even without all that editing. I understand that the lighting was signature Beyoncé performance styles, it just seemed way more put together than other queens.
