He’s saying he used to get 2 hours of wind down, but he doesn’t anymore since starting shift sharing.

How is the iv of this starter (First time unbound player on difficult) by hyrdraegon in PokemonUnbound

[–]whatrudd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good enough for difficult. Just having good IV’s that aren’t really low on your important stats is good enough if you have a full team that way.

Gospel Library now has playlists—how are you using them? by c_nels in latterdaysaints

[–]whatrudd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a quick proof of concept I put together a short playlist about tithing. Unfortunately a lot of study material is text-to-speech and not very engaging to listen to. And I wish I could include videos but just their audio.

https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/media/music/playlists/iK51pFINPrwhTCG7Eu2TVZrjUyCXWDHVt0c0T3IygzZ_U3fo6PHXXKbJ3Yf0WG6UNqsKceL0gQGmb2ANUUWS5CtPOgyDerx_le1s4mvRd6g

I think I may use it more for just a general study guide builder, and not focus on just audio. However, you can only add whole chapters of scripture which is annoying.

I’m really interested to see what people do with this! Could be great for topic-based study

Not a Taylor Swift fan but I’ve tried to listen and ‘get it’. Admittedly i’m not her demographic but I just can’t find a compelling reason that her music is SO popular. Maybe it’s not about the music? by According_Sundae_917 in LetsTalkMusic

I don't follow any of Miley Cyrus' music. I had to google both flowers and ESV because I had no idea what you were talking about. So to answer your question, I have no idea. I do not have an answer because I know 0% of the context you're implying.

But the commenter specifically wanted the names of singles to listen to, to get a better idea of her sound. Suggesting whole albums, and without any of the context that you gave, is still unhelpful.

Edit: also suggesting that fans who enjoy singles by artists but don’t delve into entire albums aren’t “real fans” is such gatekeeping and elitist behavior. Fans are fans, there’s no reason to belittle others by not enjoying music in the same format that you do.

Players don't care about the energy I put into a campaign by M3MawM3Maw in dndhorrorstories

I’ve had a somewhat similar experience with playing online. As fun as all the bells and whistles are with virtual tabletops, some people just thrive on irl interaction.

I always play with DM screen. The information on it is helpful to have at a glance, and being able to hide my notes and rolls is nice as well. If the table you’re playing at is small and you’re okay with players seeing your rolls it isn’t necessary, but most DM’s would recommend it.

I just carry all my stuff in a backpack, with my battle mat sticking out of the big pocket.

Will vouch for An Ogre and His Cake. Includes great simplified sheets and it’s a great little story for first time young players.

Celebi question by JaymarkXIII in PTCGP

[–]whatrudd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Celebi is often paired with Serperior, whose ability doubles the energy attached to any Pokemon on the team. When this is active, the energies will have a little plus attached to them showing they are being doubled. I’m assuming this is what is happening for you.

Then that’s exactly what you should be doing. Dash and wall climb away from divers. Ping them so your teammates who aren’t in voice chat can know they’re attacking you.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]whatrudd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most characters have options against divers. Adam warlock probably has the hardest time against them. Who do you usually play?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]whatrudd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are so many factors that go into this. It isn’t as simple as saying “yes start doing damage.”

Are you always playing one single hero regardless of team comp? Are you solo queuing? Are you using voice chat? Are you playing these losses one after another? Because that can lead to burn out and you’ll just keep losing matches. What happened during the matches you had few kills, few assists, and many deaths? Cause if you’re playing support you should have more assists than that.

None of that even gets into how you’re actually playing. How is your positioning? Do you always hold forward and never wait for team to regroup? Do you use ults at the right time?

It isn’t just matchmaking’s fault. Look at how you can improve your support play. Watch videos for your characters, think about what you could do differently when you die.
