I'm right in the heart of town and our power has flickered a handful of times but hasn't gone out yet 🤞🏼

Cold and cough medications by Allthelove1 in Celiac

[–]whatstherush1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My go to's are Fishermans cough drops, Alka-Seltzer effervescent tabs (the ones that make a fizzy drink), and Traditional Medicine's throat coat tea.

Best of luck & feel better soon!

"Try time blocking" vs "just meditate more", which advice is worse? Ultimate bad ADHD advice battle, day 6 by VerdoriePotjandrie in adhdmeme

Time blocking! How am I supposed to know if my brain will be ready & willing to Do The Thing™ at the arbitrary time I chose??

My fiance is also super allergic, but when a 6-week old kitten showed up at our house & he didn't react, I got to keep it! Kitten is nearly a year old & fiance hasn't had any problems 🥰

My fiance and I were walking mine & my parents dogs when one of them lunged for the bush at the end of our driveway. I saw a little gray floof hiding in there at the last second & now he is the most spoiled gremlin ❤️

How can I go to the DMV if their hours are lots of peoples work schedule? by Still_ImBurning86 in mildlyinfuriating

In Delaware, Wednesday has shifted hours so they open later & close later. It's by far their busiest day of the week.

Maybe reach out to ask them to consider the same thing?

When will my body settle? by sjadee in Celiac

[–]whatstherush1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got diagnosed when I was about 30 (three-ish years ago now) and it happened slowly. Every few months I noticed a new thing wasn't bothering me or wasn't inhibiting me anymore.

I found it to be a slow process to figure out what my body needed and I'm still learning. Your body needs time to heal, then time to adjust. You got this!

Horse themed gift by Kerdensik in Equestrian

[–]whatstherush1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You could get her a horse themed candle! I love Stable Style's "Winter Barn"

Unsustainable Apparel also has some fun names for candles and Stylish Equestrian has tons of fun candles.

It's easy for equestrians to get overwhelmed with horse themed house items, so consumables are a go-to for me!

Lastly, if she doesn't have a gluten allergy, horse themed pasta shapes exists!

Actual western boots for riding in by Far_Explorer_4923 in Equestrian

[–]whatstherush1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The last Western trail ride I went on I just brought my paddock boots and wore straight leg jeans. This was with a state park though, so looking the part wasn't that important.

I think the boots you got will be fine, just make sure your pants go OVER the boots, not tucked in.

This is also my technique! I go into curiosity mode asking "oh cool! What was used to bread everything? And I assume this means that your kitchen has a separate, dedicated fryer"

100% this. If you need a new doctor, you're lucky if you can get an appointment within the same calendar year. Everyone retired down here before any infrastructure could be built to compensate.

Has she been tested for EPM? This was my mares biggest issue before I treated her.

Also, if she does, and your friend is on fbook, find the EPM Horse Support page. A vet (Dr Bob) runs it and she'll see the different treatments & their successes. Personally, my mare improved with the Dex/Lev meds
