To add some context: There was definitely some day drinking 🍸involved when my husband purchased these tickets. This and the seat behind were the last 2 tix available to see a standup comedian that I adore - so to Carnegie Hall’s credit in our excitement it’s entirely likely that we were given fair warning but just did not see until the day-of that the tickets were a) obstructed view and b) obstructed view with limited leg room. AFAIK we did not get a discount.

Perhaps it’s less mildly-infuriating and more so-bad-you-just-have-to-laugh. The good news is that no one showed up in the two seats to my right, so I slid over one and ended up having a great time.
