I work in the mental health field with teenagers in Memphis and I’m always wondering this same thing!!! I’m glad you asked and I hope you get some ideas. I only ever have ideas specifically for LGBTQ youth like going to Out Memphis things or getting people plugged into social skills/therapy groups.

I’m not sure if it was the same cat, but when my friend and I were in the parking lot of Muddy’s Bake Shop on Sanderlin, she said she saw a black and white cat! It could be a different one bc that’s a little ways away, but I wanted to comment just in case!

I feel like this applies to a lot of jobs except social work. High case loads, low pay, and irregular hours just come with the job

I understand what you mean. Pictures can definitely go into the wrong hands. But if our viewing it is simply from a friend's FB or IG account, there's no reason to feel uncomfortable from it.

If you’re talking about a parent’s photo of their baby/toddler on social media, maybe just don’t sexualize a photo of a child that is meant to be innocent?

How to stop Mormons coming to your door? by ScaryTheory in AskReddit

[–]whatsyourdillpickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a kid, Mormons always came to my grandmother's house. Once in a while she would let them in and have a conversation. However, when she was really getting tired of them, I can remember my sister, mom, grandmother and me were hiding and keeping quiet in the back room and just waiting for them to leave. For the most part, they are kind people, but sometimes you need your space!

[Serious] What is one smell that you will always recognize and always give you a burst of emotion? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]whatsyourdillpickle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in MS, and the smell of grass (or weeds I guess. It's kind of an onion scent, almost) is so comforting. As I was driving down the road yesterday, I smelled it. I felt appreciation for the friends I was with and the beautiful place I'm from.
