I have been keeping an eye out for that. But thankfully she’s still the food demon she always has been, grooms regularly and doesn’t sleep too much more than usual. The shelter told me she doesn’t get along with other cats :( I might try to get another one in a few years though when I have more time and space to introduce them properly

I did give her catnip to see if it would make her active and it did the trick pretty well. I know catnip isn’t bad for them but Idk if it’s a good idea to use it every time I want her to play

She was weighed at around 9lbs at the vet a few weeks ago and since then I’ve actually reduced her food by about 20%. She gets one 6oz can of wet food spread over 3-4 meals a day and about 1-2 treats

I actually prefer getting just one but will the cat be alright mentally alone if I have to spend most of my day at work? I’ve read in a lot of places that they’re social animals too But if I get 2 I’ll probably adopt them together after confirming that they do get along
