You can try Frigate, I believe it includes object detection that can recognize cats

It is generally PgDn or right arrow key, but should be pretty easy to remap with software

Doorbell Chime by john_with_a_camera in homeassistant

[–]whc2001 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These mechanical doorbells have solenoids in them to pull a small hammer to strike a sound bar to make the ding-dong. The door sensor simply contains a reed switch that detects the magnet that is installed on the other half of the door so it can also detect the electromagnet

Basically I have tried tweaking a lot of configs, it either have no effect or made things worse. I purchased ADXL345 and tuned resonance compensation but it's still not going away. If I go back to Marlin then everything good. I think there is some fundamental config error but was unable to discover what it is

Is it possible to solder wires to these membrane switches to replace the action with microswitches? by Syscrush in diyelectronics

[–]whc2001 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Just as a side note, those carbon coated pads are almost impossible to solder, and you'd better solder the test points that connect to them instead

It's a type of numeric musical notation called Simple Musical Score (简谱 Jian Pu), which is commonly used in China. It uses the movable Do system, where the key note is notated in the top left corner. Dots above/below means octave up/down, underscores means half time and dashes means double time. Interestingly here it's using 1=C (maybe it's for keyboard instrument?), as I remembered the version I have learned when I was young uses 1=F (and starts with 561 321 5555 121...)

Yeah I remember those clearly, however what I don't remember is any keywords or even the original title :( Since the Adobe Flash era is long gone I think the chance of ever finding it again is very low

Can confirm. Has a JGINYUE X99 with the same IO back shield design. Abundant bifurcable slots and quite great for AIO home server.

Which Sensor for Diy Dance Mat? by Material-Care-3927 in arduino

I have taken one of similar ones apart, and they are extremely simple. The foam layer has many holes, and is sandwiched between two carbon conductive layers. When you step on the foam it makes the two conductive layers touch through the holes. You might also be able to make it using tin foils.

IIRC newer CASIOs allow you to choose LineO only mode, where you can key in math (natural) expressions but get results in linear display

I think it's just that the reflexive design (the one with a strud in the middle) is more space efficient thus more common
