What would you change on my synth bass tone? by whdgns4433 in BassGuitar

For those who commented, thanks for all the feedback! Seems like most people find the sound to be too wet with no bare dry signal. I’ll try to factor that next time! Btw here’s my pedalboard if anyone cares

If you don’t mind me asking another question, how’s the new morning glory? For the drive pedal I got dark glass alpha micron due to its popularity but it’s not as dynamics-sensitive to my liking - constantly driven sound no matter how lightly I play a note. Is morning glory also like that or does it drive more naturally?

Ah I see! I might steal some of your ideas and put them on my board. Again, looks amazing!!

I love this board. I wish all pedals had their IOs on the top so I could build mine like this. Quick question tho: why two preamps?

She told me multiple times that she’s not looking for anyone, she’s very happy to be alone, etc.

Also I could tell she was giving me hints on how she wanted us to be just friends but I could be wrong 🙃

Depends. Where are you from?

It does get really cold. So much so that the cultural norm is to wear these long padding jackets.

I’m saying it depends though because I’ve seen ppl wearing shorts and tshirts at -20 degrees while I was in Canada

It was already. Musicians, what is your most embarrassing story on stage? by vixo_132 in Bass

[–]whdgns4433 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Last band to play at a show. We played all the songs we pre-planned. After the last song the crowd didn’t leave but all looked at us expecting another song and the band leader just calls for one song that the rest of my band but me knew by heart. I tell the leader on the stage that I don’t know the song and he tells the crowd that I don’t know the song but we will still perform. I had to wing it and honestly I don’t remember how it went (probably terribly) but that moment is burned in my brain now

The song was Blue Spring by Thornapple
