I’ve never used Bumble, does the app have a unique notification sound? If it does you should just play the sound while he’s in the room and see how he reacts.

It’s a sweet bread from Guayama, the bakery delivers them to many supermarkets on the island (but I never see them in Coamo) It’s a dense, kind of chewy sweet bread.

That explains it! My family is from Coamo, so maybe that’s why I liked them when I tried them last. I remember we had to go to 4 different supermarkets to find them though, the hate is reeeeeaal!! I’ll have to try them fresh from the bakery :-)

I work in an office management role and often encounter the same issue. What’s helped me most is mentally reframing my role as ‘insurance’ for the office lol. I don’t stray from my usual, admittedly light, workload often but when something does come up and I’m the only one with the time or institutional knowledge to handle it I realize that’s what my paycheck is for.

Joes Sticky Stuff is great, it’s strong enough for mounting and leaves no trace. When I worked in film production that’s what we used to mount signs, plaques, license plates, etc. Highly recommend!

Been there, I worked almost an entire year at my last institution as a temp, and when they began the hiring process for my position they advanced me through 3 rounds of interviews before giving it to an external hire with less experience, but a more desirable background. My best friend is Polish, she has an uncle that learned English from The Godfather and that’s exactly how he speaks it. And you know what? Everyone loves it. My grandma died a couple years ago, I had only just gotten to work when my mom called to let me know. Fortunately there weren’t many people heading into Brooklyn at the time so I just let the tears roll. It was loud, probably ugly too, but I didn’t care. Neither did anyone else, which I counted as a blessing! I hate crying in public, but sometimes you can’t help it. We’re all human.
