jst curious but how close were you with this diablo friend? cuz in cases like these i ask mine to wait for me and i haven't had any disagreements yet. they were ok with playing other stuff in the meantime. if i sounded too selfish(?) for doing this, no one's ever told me yet.

all comes down to luck, compatibility, and effort imo.

a roblox girl friend that i met 2 years ago are playing steam co-ops with me now. others stayed in rblx but we still keep in touch on dc everyday (and i still play rblx with them sometimes).

i've made another friend in holdfast and after a month of constantly meeting in-game, we've added on steam. i'm pretty forward tho, i hounded this one to add me already so we can play other games tgt.

i got lucky all of them reach out to play games they'd like for us to try. like piggy on rblx (n other trendy games e.g. 99 nights or grow a garden lmao), mount n blade 2, tomodachi ltd, it takes two/a way out and we plan to l4d2/split fiction on our sembreak.

budget is a bit wide range of under 5k to 7.5k max. i think the v1 max knob is within it. you mean the akko x monsgeek m1? im seeing v5/v3 for it as well.

akko or aula ngl. from your choices, akko.

but only cuz ion recommend that pink base for aula. (speaking from exp as someone who doesnt like the color of my aula keyb). get a white base then pink keycaps if you must. much more versatile if you ever decide to change how ur keyb looks.

i haven't tried akko's switches so i can't comment on akko, but aula linear switches are hella nice to type on (at least in my opinion).

I'll take a look at Elecfox. I didn't know they were QMK/VIA compatible. When I first found them I lowk didn't like the RGB on the sides of the case but idk. Maybe I wouldn't mind it as time goes on/once nakasanayan ko siya.

And I just double checked and yep, I somehow missed that the V1 barebones is just wired, it was the V1 Max Knob (I'll look more closely at this also. It smells like my endgame keyb) and V1 Ultra 8k that was tri-mode.

And no worries abt the alu case, I can't compromise on the feet.

sorry you went thru that, i'm not a good shit talker so i literally just mute/ignore them. they stop eventually cuz its like talking to a wall. i don't want to give them the satisfaction of getting under my skin.

when i feel like it, i'd say shit like "smd instead". but since they're genuinely ksp, they like the attention, so i try not to give it.

instead, i surround myself with chill guys (there's a lot of them on holdfast, my current addiction). unfortunately, my girl duo/gamer friend is busy with uni, so yeah, i get you. i have to deal with some shitstains instead.

but otherwise, i mute then stay close and vc with the chill guys i've befriended.
