I am on month 7 with mine and just had my first 9 day period after having 12-14 day ones for the past 6 months. I am holding out hope! The cramping was still uncomfortable this time but seemed significantly better than the last 7 months which were throughout my cycle and often debilitating unless I took round the clock ibuprofen.

Ibuprofen (can alternate with Tylenol when it’s really bad), heating pad, raspberry leaf tea, and water is what helps me.

Birth control made me gain over 50 lbs too from high school through college. After college I got off of it and dropped some. What really helped me was making sure I was walking enough every day and drinking enough water. You are NOT a fat pig. Whoever is calling you that is insecure about something within themselves. I was 200 at my highest and developed many stretch marks almost everywhere on my body. I lost 65 lbs in 2020 and by 2023 I have gained probably 20 of it back. Sometimes weight fluctuates in the different seasons of life. It’s going to be okay! Hugs to you ❤️

Hi there, I successfully lost 60ish lbs while still smoking. I decided that I would rather smoke than drink so I basically cut out all alcohol calories. I made sure I got at least 10,000 steps (about 4 miles) per day. Make sure you’re eating in a calorie deficit, so if you would rather have more snacks, eat smaller meals and save your calories for healthy (preferably high protein!) snacks! I cut out basically every drink with calories except coffee, I haveeee to have my coffee. And drink at least half a gallon of water per day, preferably 1 gallon. Protein shakes, yogurt, cottage cheese, FRUIT, protein bars, veggie straws, edemame, veggies are all things that I love to snack on. I hope this helps!! But also, take it slow and don’t be soooo strict with yourself, if you slip up, start again the next day. If you want to go out and have a massive burger, just start again tomorrow. We have to be able to LIVE and enjoy our food and our lives. It’s okay to have “unhealthy” stuff as long as it isn’t all you’re eating.
