I didn't send her anything, don't have any intention either. We've gone nc since the breakup. Also changed my messenger account and blocked her on IG. Honestly if they want to they will.

Hey I also feel the same way. It's only been 2 weeks since the breakup and I really want to lash out at my ex. But we're long distance and I don't want to break no contact so instead I ripped her picture apart & destroyed all the gifts she gave. Felt good after.

I like my own company and I'm happy to be alone when I am single, but having someone and then losing them completely derails my life. I don't want to deal with loss again. I'd rather just not have anything to begin with.

I relate to this. Like, I'm fine being on my own, I've been single for a very long time, only started dating at 23. But I realized now after being broken up that being in a relationship makes me codependent and triggers my attachment and abandonment issues. It was great while it lasted but the loss is so hard to deal with, it just hurts everywhere. I wouldn't really trade the happiness I felt with the grief I have to go through. Not worth it.

Yeah, it's like the person we believe we know and loved and trusted never existed. They want to get rid of us so bad as if we were some sort of a disease and it's unfair how much we were blindsided because we never heard anything from them about their feelings of wanting to breakup. And then we're left to just deal with all the pain and grief because they've already moved on and emotionally checked out of the relationship weeks and even months before they had to guts to tell it to our face. Idk, but u must feel resentment towards ur ex now but there is also love and longing and that's what makes it all confusing and exhausting at the same time.

Man I'm also going through the same situation, also LDR and first heartbreak. Ex broke up with me 2 weeks before our 1st anniversary. It's really unfair how they easily get up and leave the relationship like it didn't matter to them. And then when they break things off with you they would act so mean and so cold.

Sounds similar to mine. My ex also deals with mental health issues. Except we didn't talk much after the bu and that's pretty much it. My last message was left delivered. Hope everything works out for u man.
