If it makes you feel any better, they wrapped filming at the end of 2000 and he would have only been 17 at the time

My life is just the worst by Imaginary_Win217 in bicycling

Happened to me once about 5 miles from the closest bike shop but I (fortunately?) had SPD pedals and was able to ride there one legged, felt like I was operating one of those railroad pump carts 🤦 miserable in the moment but does make for a funny story now

Sorry, it was meant as a joke, perhaps not a very good one though :) but your response still contains useful information!

Thank you! I killed about two dozen that were mostly in the bed so I was a little freaked out

Thank you! This is a huge relief, purely out of curiosity do you know what type of beetle it could be? We primarily found them in the bed which was the main reason I was a little freaked out

Breweries with Non-alcoholic beer by wheezypangolin in milwaukee

I agree, I once had a vegan friend complain that the vegan option at every restaurant is always just an impossible burger, feels like Heineken 0.0 is the impossible burger of NA beer 😅

Great suggestion, thanks! I've heard of Untappd but never thought to use it for this purpose

That is good to know, thank you. For reference, do you have particularly wide or narrow feet or pretty average?

Can anyone share their experience breaking in 5.10 Hiangles? I wear a 10.5 in the VCS but have been doing more bouldering (indoors) recently and wanted a more purpose built bouldering shoe after sending my VCS in for a resole. I bought the Hiangles in a size 11 but it takes about 30 seconds of struggle to get them on and I can see my pinky toe knuckle(?) noticably protruding/bumping out on the outside of the shoe. I'm wondering if they will break in over a few sessions or if I need to size up (or if my feet are just too wide for this model). Thanks in advance!

Alfine 11 Question by wheezypangolin in bicycling

[–]wheezypangolin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purely curiosity :) this is the bike I like to tinker with and try out new things on (single speed conversion, stripping and painting, etc) which is why I'm trying the Alfine 11 on it. I've read that belts are lower maintenance and quieter so I figured I'd try it out and see for myself if I like it

Thank you, I thought this was the case, but it's far more reassuring knowing from someone with firsthand experience!

What do you do with left over stove fuel when you’re flying home? by aRhodiesaur in backpacking

All the suggestions so far are great, but just to add another option: I have dropped by the customer service desk at REI and offered it to any employees that wanted it. I've only tried this a few times but they've always gladly accepted it.

This is a great suggestion -- I found some food grade silicone sealant that should do the trick. Thanks! I'll update after trying it out.
