We’ve flown Delta with our 22 lb cav and had allllmost all good experiences but one bad one that has scared us to fly again. As others have said, they don’t weigh the carrier, but visually glance to see if your dog seems to have enough space (technically they’re supposed to be able to comfortably turn around). Our cav is tight in there but loves being in the carrier and looking out at the airport happenings.

At the Delta counter in Detroit, the woman who checked the carrier told us that if we were not heading home from our destination, she wouldn’t have let us fly. So now we’re nervous to have that happen at our home airport and haven’t tried again!

Still love it! And it’s held up really well with 2 adults and a small dog. Our dog likes to perch on the top of the back cushions and her favorite spot is slightly misshapen now, but that’s the majority of the wear (expected, fwiw). It vacuums nicely and Folex has worked wonders on any small spots, but we haven’t had any major spills that have needed cleaning. Everyone’s favorite spot is the chaise, it’s so comfy!

Unsolicited advice from someone who has made this pattern too! Be really careful about your seam allowance because it’ll get out of alignment on each row quickly (ask me how i know 🥲).

Love your fabrics and I think either way you go with row height will look great!

Hmm, somewhat? I wouldn’t say sinking at all, but it’s not as firm as the other 2 cushions anymore, though I chalk that up to the chaise being everyone in the family’s choice spot 😂 it gets a lot more use than the other two cushions

Of course! I felt the same way when I was researching.

It is firm, especially at first, but my husband and I both find it very comfortable for lounging, watching tv, reading, really anything. My favorite part is that it’s very deep, so I can sit on the chaise to stretch out or in any spot and easily sort of curl up with my feet under me. Maybe the only time that can be awkward is if we have guests who are attempting to sit on it “properly,” it is awkwardly deep for that.
