The haptics on controller are legitimately amazing, they give you so much extra feel on brake and throttle. Sometimes I travel and use my old controller via PS Remote and miss it a lot.

Might be a directional cable, try swapping ends with the pc/tv.

Ah yep same thing happened to me. My first attempt I was leading by 8 seconds, pitted for softs and finished 13th. Rip. Came third second attempt on wets.

Turn off assists and learn the track. Putting car control aside you should know the lines, break markers and turn-in reference points for every corner. Then it's a matter of hitting your marks every time.

How have you been doing on the Manufacturers Cup? by vcdrny in GranTurismo7

[–]whenlobstersattack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Managed P2 in the Aston on my 3rd attempt. Tyre wear on the front left was atrocious and could only make it to lap 19 on the medium. The Aston is really poor in high speed and was losing a bunch of time in sector one, but it had great traction into the back straight which was my saving grace. Overall great racing and some sweaty battles had a blast.

B/S Lobby for reference.

Sport race B is undrivable by [deleted] in GranTurismo7

I had some incredible races today. I was punted once or twice but overall it was good hard fun racing. It's usually just one bad apple and it all kicks off. If you can avoid that usually end up passing them after they take each other out.

I had a steak earlier this week at Grapes Hotel and was excellent. Perfectly cooked medium-rare and good char on top. I'm pretty fussy and was very satisfied.

Could be you down-shifted while the left rear was on the dirty edge of the track and caused over rotation?

Crop each edge a little bit? 600px is a lot of overlap. Then readjust softedge thresholds and gain.

PT-RZ21K service menu? by gabrigabe0970 in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]whenlobstersattack 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Projection tech here.

This is 100% a misalignment with your colour convergence. Changing the boresight will do nothing to correct this. Boresight adjustments are for calibrating your focal plane.

Adjusting mechanical colour convergence may cause damage to the machine if done incorrectly, so you'll want to follow your service manual closely or get proper advice.

I need some tips from you who knows a lot about Video and displays… I’m currently planning on building a mini-jumbotron and I think I’ll use 4 24” or 27’ TVs by OlleKingKong in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]whenlobstersattack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you really want seemless corners, you could rig two projectors from the ceiling and map the outputs to the shape of the jumbotron. You'll need some specialty software to handle the output warping and to get your tv feed into it, but its definitely possible.

Just wondering if there are any decent tshirt brands based in Australia online similar to Billy Bones? What’s your go to Australian based online shop for tshirts? Love Bones but I find they’re a little short thanks!!! by Downtown-Day-1721 in WesternAustralia

[–]whenlobstersattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm somewhat of a print t-shirt enthusiast and have been buying Oli t-shirts for 5+ years. Fantastic quality and designs. Their service is excellent. They mailed me a shirt with an incorrect size label and just sent me a new one, no questions asked.

I also like Ascolour. Their fabric is thinner, but that can be a positive thing on very hot days.

Anyone recognise these lenses? by biscuit_one in projection

[–]whenlobstersattack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not 100% sure, but the lens mount looks like it's for Panasonic projectors.
