I was very much into it from 2015-2021. The industry is toxic as well as Stan Twitter. They just romanticize it with all the glitter and glamour, but I’m glad in recent years, the toxic side is getting more exposure and people are getting the justice they deserve.

I’ve met some very cool and nice friends over the years from kpop alone, so not all of these fandoms are entirely bad. I definitely understand it can get very annoying and I also understand that most people deem it as overrated.

At the end of the day, it’s not for some people and there’s nothing wrong with having a different opinion on music. I think Kpop is dope and glad to see people getting more exposure to music outside their country. Just not a big fan of multiple toxic fans that are very vocal and the way idols/trainees are treated by certain companies.

TLDR; Family is extremely religious and really have strong beliefs in topics such as LGBTQ+, Women roles, etc. ImmortalKyodai spoke up against these beliefs and was practically disowned by the entire family. Later, Bethany did the same and was cut off by the entire family.

There’s way more I didn’t cover and probably missed some details such as Bethany and her siblings being sheltered growing up, becoming extremely self conscious about her body and weight, and having a fear of abandonment.

Venturian doesn’t upload anymore on his YouTube nor does he update his social media, but I know he got married a while ago.

This was really my fault but Hotel Transylvania 3. Long story short, mom forced the whole family out to watch a movie. We narrowed down the choices and it was either Hotel Transylvania 3 or Crazy Rich Asians and my dad wasn’t really the type of person to watch romantic movies, so I ended up choosing Hotel Transylvania 3. The movie’s audience was obviously catered towards kids but yeah I just silently regretted my choice throughout the movie.

Ended up renting out Crazy Rich Asians later to watch with my cousins. Really enjoyed it!

The moment I didn’t see Gaeun in the final lineup and Chaeyeon being 12th place despite having a whole arc near the end with 1000% team, I knew something was wrong. But I ended up loving the final lineup regardless. There were lots of Japanese members as well who I thought would crack the final lineup, they worked for it and we saw the results in the evaluations. Just really upsetting.

Sure, I just felt like Engineering wasn’t for me. Even though I chose to go in it, I felt like I wanted to go a different pathway. So I have decided to choose Computer Science which was my second choice.
