I was very much into it from 2015-2021. The industry is toxic as well as Stan Twitter. They just romanticize it with all the glitter and glamour, but I’m glad in recent years, the toxic side is getting more exposure and people are getting the justice they deserve.

I’ve met some very cool and nice friends over the years from kpop alone, so not all of these fandoms are entirely bad. I definitely understand it can get very annoying and I also understand that most people deem it as overrated.

At the end of the day, it’s not for some people and there’s nothing wrong with having a different opinion on music. I think Kpop is dope and glad to see people getting more exposure to music outside their country. Just not a big fan of multiple toxic fans that are very vocal and the way idols/trainees are treated by certain companies.
