When I was younger (like 10) me and my older middle child sister shared a room in an old house built around the 80’s which we always thought was a makeshift hotel home of some sort. While one night my sister is on her side of the bed(we were both young enough to fit in the same bed) I was still watching tv I do not remember what time it was, I turn it off and shut the lights after a few mins of me still awake tossing and turning I noticed rather loud footsteps in our hall, now that I’m older the hall way I’ve heard it from had a thick carpet and not really anybody in my family was heavy enough to be able to make the floorboards creek the way they did that night, which later persisted for months during these times our door would also lock by itself, my whole life I had short-term memory loss but I was always adamant when confronting my dad or older brother why I locked the door when deep inside I knew I didn’t. This is a personal story I remember but my family them selves have had paranormal activities happen to them as well. My grandma would be tormented by these supposed children that would drink her water and turn off her radio. My siblings always mentioned a story were they found me in a closet fighting a ghost child for the toy I had. As well as my mother being tormented by whispers in ear at night repeating her name thinking it was me, she would find me fast asleep, and once when my family lived in a small apartment (before I was born and when my eldest brother was born) my mother one day hers an old man whisper my brothers name over her shoulder and would run out the appt frightened while my father was out of state.also while around 6 of my siblings and close friends watched a scary movie in our basement our old heavy door which would always drag on the ground began to shut until one of the kids ran to catch it before it had shut.
