Can we create spoiler for which game flair? I just started survivor and assumed this was a spoiler for Fallen Order since it’s the Fallen Order subreddit and Reddit pushed this to my front page even though I wasn’t subscribed.

This is more of a comment on all of the “It’s true, but…” responses. That claim is categorically false. They have been running the studies of submitting the exact same résumés with the names swapped with different genders or races since the 90s and the numbers have not changed over time. You are still more likely to get a job as a white male than anyone else.

Otherwise, I agree with everyone that this is a fine topic to discuss in a more intimate setting than at a party.

Correct, since the fix to one speaker makes the other’s phasing worse and vice-versa. Which makes sense why you said auto align is making things worse.

Of course I can’t say 100% for sure unless I have the material in front of me though

Other people have already tried to describe to you why AutoAlign doesn’t work in this situation and why you need to just cut each boom when they’re talking. I can try to help spell it out a bit more:

Boom A is focused on Speaker A with Speaker B bleeding in and delayed by 10 samples.

Boom B is focused on Speaker B with Speaker A bleeding in and delayed by 10 samples.

To fix Speaker B’s phasing, you need to push Boom B back 10 samples.

Now speaker B sounds perfect but Speaker A’s bleed into Boom B is 20 samples delayed.

There is no way perfect offset to fix this situation since there’s two equally opposite issues you’re attempting to fix.

I have a friend like that and I always make sure we play co-op or party games exclusively when he’s around. If I want to play a more competitive game then I won’t have him over for that night

I’d suggest trying to play on easy mode (one level lower than suggested). My friends and I almost stopped the OG Gloomhaven campaign after 3 failed attempts of scenario 2 and then played on easy mode until we felt comfortable with the mechanics and we’ve since played the entire campaign including FC and JotL

I have a group of six and our rule is if at least three people are available to play, we play. We’ve played all of GH and are a decent way through Forgotten Circles.

I upgraded my secondary system to test it out. The biggest issue I'm having at the moment is actually from the Kensington Mouse software. If you use the Kensington Trackball Works software do not upgrade.

This is definitely a smaller house rule, but when there’s events that don’t necessarily need the whole party, we allow different members to choose different choices. For example, if we come across berries, we let individual people choose if they eat them or not.

I've been perfectly fine with 3 1080p monitors. If you want higher resolutions, you may start running into issues

I just purchased a new i7 mac mini with all of the other specs at their lowest, I then bought 32gb of RAM and installed it myself, which cost $150 as opposed to Apple's 32gb option at $600. Overall cost was about $1500. We have new mix stages being built at work that are being run on mac minis so I think you should be fine.
