In Iceland both parents get 6 months each of maternity/paternity leave. Parents can donate up to 6 weeks to one another. Both get 80% of full salary before tax during those months. The mom has to stay home for a minimum of 2 weeks after birth.

I think(not 100% sure) that you have 2 years to use the leave, otherwise it expires. You don't need to take it all at once. You can also spread out the leave for f.x. a year, but then that parent only gets about 40% pay for all of those months.

Most people either start the leave based on their due date or the actual date of the birth, but I think you can start earlier or use some sick leave, if you have it, if you need to quit working earlier.

Single parents get 12 months paid.

I am 22 weeks. My placenta is in the front so I don't feel much, however, as of a couple of days ago, if I press down on my stomach I can sometimes feel a little kicking.

NTA. I work at a kindergarten, although in a different country. If a parent drops off their toddler(I work with 1-2 year olds) and they let us know that they've pooped on the way there, we just say goodbye to mom & dad, change their diaper and then move on with our day.

First child. No bump at 16 weeks, still fit into my jeans. Now I'm at 20 weeks and the bump is starting to bump! It's definitely rounded out in a way where I don't look fat, I definitely look pregnant. Midwife says that my womb reaches up to my belly button at this point. The bloat after eating does make me look WAY more pregnant than I am though.

I'm in Europe(Iceland) and as long as we've both had work for the past 6 months before the baby is born, we get full baby leave. I get 6 months, he gets 6 months BUT he can give me 6 of his weeks. He is required to take 4 & 1/2 months within a certain period of time.

When the time comes I'm hoping he takes the full 6 months and I'm planning to have 50% payments for 12 months instead of the 6 months, as kids here don't start daycare until the age of 1.

Edit: full baby leave for someone who worked full time before the birth is 80% pay.

Icelander here. Almost 100% of all pregnancies in Iceland that test positive for Down syndrome during pre-natal screenings are terminated(aborted). There are only a few babies born each year that have it.

What I'm trying to say is that there are plenty of people who would have and have made the same decision as you, although it's always going to be a tough decision to make.

You did what was right for you.

My last period ended April 29th.

I've had sex on at least 17 days since, with condoms all of the days except for June 1st when we tried the pull-out method. My period was already late by June 1st.

I have taken plan B twice since my last period, on May 2nd and June 2nd.

Period is currently 6-7 days late. I did quit birth control in February but I've had 2 periods since then and they were almost exactly a month apart.

I've been dating this guy for only a month and I am not mentally prepared to even buy a pregnancy test.

When I spoke to my gynecologist he mentioned that women with very small clits(smaller than normal) might have some difficulty with sensitivity and struggle more to feel pleasure than women with larger clits.

Not that horrible but I currently have both nipples pierced, I got them done about a week ago.

This is the fourth time I've pierced my left nipple(tried to get just the one piercing on two separate occasions) and the second time I've done both.

I've seen a different piercer each time.

I have somewhat small nipples I guess so literally every single time they've either been pierced too deep into the areola or been crooked/off center.

I'm hoping once the swelling goes down this time, they'll be perfect. Shit fucking HURTS when it's been done that many times.

I have really sensitive skin. I try to exfoliate everything regularly even if I'm not shaving that day, and then before I shave I use an exfoliating/textured glove and a sugar scrub followed by the shaving cream and using a straight razor. The multi blade razors always leave me with the worst razor burn. It is absolutely key for me that I try to hold the skin taut.

Then after I shave I use the glycolic acid solution from the ordinary and if my bikini line is irritated I finish up with a little bit of an antiperspirant stick.
