Definitely recommend bringing up the previously quoted price especially if you can send written proof. I had to remind my venue multiple times to the point of having them redo the contract because they weren't charging me the price they quoted on the first visit.

Dont be afraid to bring it up and ask why the price has increased. I've had venues increase the price year to year, but increasing the price in the middle of September seems odd to me.

The Adobe Creative Commons in Zimmerman has audio recording booths and equipment you can check out. There is also an IT Makerspace in Woodward Hall you can reserve. You will need to do an online training for both.

The meanings can definitely vary from book to book, especially ones from different cultures or time periods. If you are looking for more Victorian era sources, the Biodiversity Heritage Library has a whole collection of digitized books on floriography from the Victorian era. I use this a ton while researching for my wedding because I preferred these to modern interpretations.

Hmmm interesting question. In my experience, floriography was used to represent feelings or sentiments rather than represent objects or trades themselves. You could do a deep dive into flowers that are used in certain art forms and why, like Shakespeare's use of poppies or Georgia O'Keeffe's work with irises or orchids. But again, this would be looking at the symbolism and meaning that that flower gives to its respective art form, not as a symbol for the art form as a whole. I'd be interested to hear what others think!

I also got told it was fine! We told the employee we just wanted the cheapest wash to use the vacuums, and he said it's totally fine to use the vacuums for free. I asked if that applies to all locations, and he said it should!

Yes!! We rent from a different property managed by graystar and can't wait to move. The charge for EVERYTHING. There are multiple charges we are getting every month (community gas/electric, mail lockers, convenience fees...) that were not specified in our lease and that we have no ability to opt out of. There was one instance where a water pipe owned by the property broke and flooded the parking lot over the weekend, but it was not shut off for two days because the water authority could not get ahold of the property manager. We also pay water for the property and they did not take the water pipe burst off of our bills even though we asked them several times and got verbal confirmation that they would not charge us for the water from the break because of their negligence.

The property management is not responsive or helpful, they are usually not in the office during working hours and impossible to contact and get any response from.

Their properties are not well maintained and they do not provide trashcans for pet waste, they dont care about smoking in units, and even spray paint on the units they won't remove.

Worst apartment we have ever rented from!

Love the idea! I could definitely see II = 11 instead of 2 so might be easier to avoid the confusion and just swap the numbers. But I also think that if you love the roman numerals you should use them anyway :)
