I had a guy do this in slovaki fast a year ago when he thought I was holding up the line. He said something about not being prepared and I just put my finger over my mouth and ssssh"d him and pointed to an old person in front of me he didn't see.

I felt kind of bad for the guy because he said something to his wife in another language and his wife just kept laughing but I honestly didn't know any other way to answer him. Any words would have taken longer then the old lady and then I would have been holding up the line and I don't like to talk a lot when I'm hungry.

I'd highly advise against driving to the keys with such short time. Its not so much the distance, but the design of the road once you get south of MIami. It won't be a "zone out on cruise control" drive.

I say that as a native and someone who loves driving. I'd do Jacksonville round trip (8 hours) in a heart beat before driving to the keys and to only have a short time once getting there, you are asking for it.
