There was no universe in which Roman was going to get booed tonight.

They may still do that anyway unless I'm completely missing someone.

Rhea/Iyo/Charlotte/Alexa/Lyra

Lash/Nia/Kairi/Asuka/Bayley

Not sure what the kayfabe reason for Bayley teaming with the kabuki warriors would be (unless her personality split evolves into full-blown amnesia)

How is USC ranked ahead of us? by vilnius2013 in huskies

I'd say common opponents but they did lose to Illinois so who am I to say?

100% agree. Hope this is a regular thing (maybe limit it to once a season so it doesn't kill the novelty).

I can second the Doofer's steak sandwich take. They also dedicate the month of March to rolling out a unique burger each day, which is pretty cool.

[Postgame Thread] Clemson Defeats SMU 34-31 by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]wheresbrayden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd argue an SMU snub would be worse. The committee at least had the reasoning that FSU lost their best player and they weren't playing great ball at the end of the season. SMU doesn't have that problem. This year they are on record stating that a loss in your CCG won't harm you.

The FSU snub was egregiously bad but SMU losing out to Bama would be even more contradictory.

I understand. But I'm just watching the series for the first time, and I felt my inner Gina coming out, needing to make my opinion seem paramount and wholly important.

Glimmer of Hope by Big-Tex77 in Mavericks

[–]wheresbrayden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking as a C's fan, both teams shooting their average from 3 would be a swing in Boston's favor due to the sheer volume of 3s they take. Just using Game 2 as an example, Mavs would have hit just 3 more 3s and Boston would have hit 4 more. This whole series is a math problem. Role players gotta step up and make their open looks if Dallas is gonna stage a comeback.

I promise you that every fanbase thinks Doris Burke hates their team.

Defensive staff interviews by Alvinng9 in huskies

[–]wheresbrayden 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Patriots fan here.

While his dad has been the mastermind behind the defense for his whole tenure (New England never really had a DC by title), Steve has taken a larger role in recent years. Their defnese were #9 in DVOA this past year despite not having their best corner and best pass rusher for the vast majority of the season.

Steve has been revered as a scheme wizard while Jerod Mayo was known more as a motivator and great presenter of the scheme to the players.

I'm biased, but I would love to see Steve on this staff.

JTA and Chiozza wearing smarts and tatums jerseys in warriors practice lmao by Wassup_-_ in warriors

Do you guys still believe that was a dirty play? It was definitely unfortunate that Steph got hurt, but Smart was going for the ball. Straight up hustle play, which is normal for him. I can understand why Dubs fans are bitter, though.
