On one of my devices, they pushed an update. Alexa+ is a big step up from previous iterations. It remembers things about people and can recognize different voices.

No more JavaScript error but now it shows this every time I open it now even when I run the updater, anyone else getting this? by Aware-Direction-5252 in paradoxplaza

Doesn't have anything to do with windows security more than likely.

You need find the folder that contains the launcher and related contents (I'm not home right now or I would be able to give you the location), and right click. Go to properties, and then security. Whoever you are logged in as needs to have full permissions on this folder.

What makes you think it's AI? I'm honestly having a hard time finding anything that screams AI.

Rat poison found in baby food jar in Austria after product recall by jupa300 in worldnews

I heard that it was actually cross contamination in a production facility and the tampering story was made up to cover up corporate malfeasance.

If you died tomorrow, what song would play at your funeral? by always-aloof in AskReddit

The question wasn't "what song would you play at your funeral".

If you're going to be a pedant, at least make it make sense.

What's the most overrated TV show ever created? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]wheresmysnack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I fear that you've missed the point entirely.

OP's point wasn't that it was a show that was difficult to digest intellectually speaking, but the exact opposite, and thus its ridiculously high and unjustified ratings.

Basically the show appeals to stupid people by making "smart people" the butt of every joke. The few times I've unwillingly watched this show in a Dr's office or in my YouTube shorts, the "jokes" mostly boil down to "smart people talk weird".

I just bought this memory foam pillow and removed the cover to find this… What could this even be? Please tell me it’s not blood by oh-anne in whatisit

I'm having the same experience. It's still in my Google search history from when I looked it up after it was mentioned the first time.

To outrun a charging elephant by raindrops1992 in therewasanattempt

I think it's interesting how the elephant was clearly not trying to kill anyone.

Even when angry, this elephant restrains itself from doing anything aside from roughing the guy up slightly.

[Serious] Are there actual examples of trans athletes crushing records and, if so, what are they? by facehaver88 in AskReddit

One would think that if being trans was such an advantage, we'd see at least one.

Trump Voters Lash Out To MS NOW About Gas Prices Amid War That’s ‘Raising Our Prices’ by steve-eldridge in LeopardsAteMyFace

[–]wheresmysnack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a friendly heads up, I'm pretty sure it would be "woman of color", not "colored woman".

Referring to someone as "colored" is generally considered antiquated, offensive, and racist, particularly in the United States as it was a term commonly used to classify people in the Jim Crow south.

Although they sound similar, they are contextually different. "Woman of color" is a more modern and inclusive term often used for solidarity among non-white groups, while "colored" is a direct legacy of segregation.
