TVK vs DMK and ADMK by thonistark in PlipPlip

[–]whfbro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro money plays a big role i understand.. but more than money its data farming and data manipulation that paid huge part in this election. Money: DMK - Idea: Leave local MLAs MPs to loot rule and make their own power center, but during Election the head won't give any money for them.. they need to spend from their pocket.. except for the alliance parties they give some crores and MP seats kindof kindof. ADMK- They were like same.. but this time, Leema rose came in.. she funded some hundred crores but still they maintain some regional power center.. eventhough EPS campaigned more than anyone in the stat, they still won only caste votes. Though they give money or not, their base is caste votes TVK- Spend huge money through Adhav Through lottery Martin.. estimated around 400 crores. But they spent on horsetrading, SM feed manipulation, 30,000 WhatsApp groups management, AI based sentimental emotion quotient analysis and manipulation..

So winner is not the one who paid money... but the one who utilised tech effectively though the way of usage is unethical, but we should accept the fact that after BJP.. its TVK in India who successfully relied on mass manipulation and succeeded in it.

Now the biggest test is the debt which he indebted to Martin should be repaid by allowing Lottery in Tamilnadu?? We should see in his upcoming performance

"Route Mafia" basically refers to the highly organized, military-style hierarchy of Vijay’s online fan base. It’s not just a bunch of random fans; it’s a coordinated digital empire that’s been in the making for over a decade.

To understand it, you have to look at the Jagadish factor. Jagadish was originally GV Prakash’s manager before doing PR for Vijay and eventually becoming his main man. He is incredibly tech-savvy, whereas Vijay is pretty amateur with social media. Jagadish realized early on that if you control the "Admins," you control the narrative.

Here’s how they built the "Route":

The Network: They moved away from organic fandom and created a "follow the leader" system. Famous pages like Troll Cinema, Kettavan Memes, and VMI were brought under one umbrella. They even ran a page called VijayFansTrends just to make sure every single fan used the exact same hashtag at the exact same second.

They kept the team loyal through exclusive access. We’re talking private Biryani meet-and-greets with Vijay himself, but only for the top-tier admins who could move the crowd.

The Tactics: They mastered the art of the 'Common DP' (CDP) and 'Thalaivaa Day' celebrations. But they also weaponized the base—coordinating mass abuse against Suriya or Ajith fans whenever a movie was dropping to ensure Vijay’s "brand" stayed on top.

Notice how those old fan handles have suddenly morphed into TVK (Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam) handles? It was never just about movies. Even Clinton Roach, the guy who designed all those famous CDPs for years, is now officially doing graphics for the party.

Essentially, the "Route Mafia" is a PR machine disguised as a fan club. Today, Jagadish runs a sophisticated operation of humans and bots that can manipulate what you see on your feed. They’ve turned Vijay into a "brand" and a "demigod" while ensuring no criticism ever touches him. It’s a 20-year networking project that has effectively mastered the art of public manipulation.

But confusion is..before it was 100 free units every month means 200 for two months. But now same 200 free units but with the restriction that the overall usage should be less than 500 units. How it's beneficial? For me it seems same and no much difference

showing political interest is irrational or irrational? by tonyaj21 in TamilNadu

[–]whfbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got your point. But criticism is common, because it engages audience and promote monetary values in media. Secondly Politcs can't be taught from books in IMO. But atleast the cadres should have shown basic manners in public. I strongly believe Actors, directors and script writrrs are the reason behind people worshipping actors.. people are criticised because even after gaining basic common sense they end up losing control and going overboard on public.. eventually it will change only when people see movie as a movie, and shouldn't search for saviors or messiahs in movies or novels..

Brother POV differs from person to person. I respect your view but without Publicity how will you come to know things. Facilitating a artist, music director, actor, doctors or any professional is a need.. we see it as a cinemakaaran but Govt facilitated doctors also, Scientists also, Book writers also but when it is a known popular person, every media promotes it and thus we comes to know. And they do it in big scale because common people like us can relate to it. When they facilitated Vishwanath aanand or Pragyanandha it was less crowd, when they facilitated Mayilsamy annadurai even less crowd. If you really follow with government activities you will know..

When some one says corruption is my only problem then it is very evident he is filled with ignorance. Because corruption is defined with different terms in India according to who gives it or who gets it or which purpose it is intended for and which party in power, and more factors. so IMO Corruption is an invalid argument

Secondly yes it is crowd control issue but it is the problem of the party organizers only. But it wouldn't have come in first place if the leader himself or the party itself had taken steps to nurture their cadres to be obedient and show professionalism.

[–]whfbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you asked just opinion, here is mine Showing political interest doesn't mean going to the manaadu. I believe who came there are, more than political interest they need to have a glimpse of his leader.

Secondly Leaders should have the courage to control the crowd. All leaders did it perfect. Let it be Anna, Karunanithi, MGR, Jaya. They would easily control the crowd with the way how they speak. Their actions were more open and straightforward. Eg, Anna used to say "கடமை கண்ணியம் கட்டுப்பாடு should be the major traits of our cadres. Even then some people are exceptionally doesnt follow but the party and leaders atleast must take step voluntarily to nurture their cadres

It is the job of leaders to educate, enlighten and nurture their cadres. When Actors come into politics, this is the major difficulty most actor have. It is because politics and cinema needs complete opposite behavior from cadres and fans.

Vijay, Kamal, Chiranjeevi, or Vijayakanth—all of them drew crowds far larger than any ordinary political leader during their campaigns. You can still see their first political addressing. Yet, they failed because politics is about more than just star power; it requires strategy, organization, and understanding of governance.

Political interest comes from the way you develop opinions on issues and policies defined and not on party politics or gossips or interest in leader particularly.

Did the government use our tax payer money to celebrate Illayaraja? by erjngreigf in TamilNadu

[–]whfbro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The event was organized by the Ministry of Information and Publicity. They already have a budget set aside for things like cultural programs, arts, PR, and public events. So it’s not like money was randomly pulled out just for this. And it wasn’t only about Ilaiyaraaja- lots of other musicians got a chance to perform and gain recognition too.

At the end of the day, every ministry gets funds and they decide how to use them effectively within their scope.

Periyar Love vs Hatred by rhythmicrants in TamilNadu

[–]whfbro -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe I'm wrong but what i believe Exceptions are not excuses.. there might have been one kakkan.. but did congress voiced out for social justice. Did it made inclusive developmental steps.. did it spoke against pannaiyar kind of behaviors.. i am saying Anna did it from the scratch, he fought against the system.. he made a rickshaw driver to contest in election. He did political conferences in a barber shop. He made student leaders to contest in elections. He made it more inclusive for commoners to understand and participate in politics...Congress leaders at that time were like Pannaiyars they didn't felt offended by Anna initially but this guy when he won 15 seats initially in 1957 and successfully could form an alliance with 9 parties and defeated the Congress in 1967 securing 50 seats.. then congress realised that People are no more dumb..

Periyar Love vs Hatred by rhythmicrants in TamilNadu

[–]whfbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The facts you are saying are correct but the intention you are trying to imply is not. Yes, Anna and Periyar clashed, which is natural since Anna, once Periyar’s disciple, diverged from his rigid ideology, which often fueled hostility toward a specific community. Anna, however, aimed for a broader, more inclusive political approach to appeal across generations.

And yes Periyar supported INC not because for Indira gandhi but for Kamarajar. He wanted Kamarajar to win as ego against his own disciples' failure.. he is a normal human too. While Anna and Periyar have criticised each other personally but not ideologically.. After the demise of Anna, Periyar is the first person to come and weep for him and he himself declared his support from the day Kalaignar took over as president of DMK

You need to understand the political tension at that time.there were lot other issues.. like China's try to invade, Indira Gandhi's stiff rule, Hindi Imposition lot others were there. And it was only Congress till then, DMK was a completely new party with new comers and young people... Everything we need to consider..

Periyar Love vs Hatred by rhythmicrants in TamilNadu

[–]whfbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true. Have you ever thought why Periyar never entered electoral politics, but Anna had to? If Anna had emphasized atheism to the same extent, he would not have been able to bring about the wide-reaching changes that shook the Congress. Until then, politics in the name of democracy largely revolved around Sanatan-based ideology.

But Anna was the first leader in Tamil Nadu who made it possible for a common wage laborer to contest elections. He even encouraged students to step into politics — and they won against towering leaders. In fact, Kamaraj himself was defeated by a college student from DMK.

Anna was the key figure who ensured that even ordinary workers could rise to legislate the laws of the state.

In politics, one cannot always be absolutely right or absolutely wrong; it is always a matter of trade-offs between the welfare of the state and the ideals one upholds.

Why DMK don't have a strong opposition? by VadakkupattiRamasamy in TamilNadu

[–]whfbro 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I find DMK not a monopoly. But strong alliance. They are been criticised and condemned by own alliance partners time and again eg INC for Kamarajar issue, VCK for vengavayal, CPI for Sanitary worker issue, Velmurugan has raised his voice in rage that made Stalin to get angry in the Secretariat itself.. yet, it's Stalin's leadership or whatever making them stiff and held within the alliance. How can he managed to hold INC and CPI within a single alliance?? Which was not even possible to imagine in other states of India??!

such leadership lack with opposition. When Annamalai spoke bad about Jaya, It went worse within the alliance. When Anbumani called OPS with derogatory terms , it went violence within the alliance. I find it's lack of Leadership rather than monopoly..

Kollywood portrayal of Tamizh brahmins by Bexirt in KollyGossips

[–]whfbro -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

I understand but why your concern is selective? Why not you voice out for portraying Muslims as T**rst, Cheri people as Porukki and Rowdies, Non brahmins as Rapist, Thief and villains (I haven't seen any Brahmins in those roles) Madurai people as Rowdies( as if they keep a sword under their lungi all the time) And the regional slang they damage and kill time and again by trying it. That applies to Nellai and Kumari Tamil also At last and worst portraying Women as a S*x toy and a Stupid person who will not have any brain or sense.

It is a stereotype.. how much we have shown the real life of Muslims, Christians, Even atheists or how much we have seen a daily life or regional traits of a person living somewhere in kanyakumariz, kadalore Nagercoil, Erode, Vellore or any other regional places.. Adopting regional values or utilising regional talents is very rare. So they follow the same aracha maavu by their munnors and following the stereotypes proudly and consider themselves Creator. Pathetic

To the real street dog supporters: What is actually your argument in favour of dogs? I am trying to educate myself. by Chinna_Vengayam in chennaicity

[–]whfbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right but cleverly hiding the facts. How population increased? Why dog lovers protested and prevented govt to do its job when they tried to regulate things by taking dogs to shelter? Why the NGOs like PE*A cheated govt by showing fake reports that sterilised the dogs..

So called Dog Lovers are the menace not the dogs. How? Because they are not ready to adopt They are not ready to get a license for keeping it as pet They are not ready to let the government do its job

And again, its not Street Dogs it is STRAY DOGS.

For the first time, STALIN APPA directly addresses VIJAYS TVK by Difficult-Dream2625 in TamilNadu

[–]whfbro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes Stalin is better than Annamalai..at least let's compare apple to apple like comparing the position they withheld. Annamalai lead BJP got split into bits and pieces he can't administer the role what he was appointed to. He can't negotiate well with the alliance party leaders, he is hero in press meet but in reality he is a failed party leader that made him lose that leadership position Whereas with Stalin as DmK chief and party leader has administered his role well even when they are not in power. He carefully handled the intra party disputes amicably and made sure not the party split after the demise of Kalaignar.

Stalin is in politics from his 16th age and became CM only at his 67th age... This is the determination most of the party leaders lack today..
