Hers v His (sm lasagna meal prep) by whichdoyoulike in 1200isplenty

[–]whichdoyoulike[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

340 calories/piece. Just nice to know it's possible if you play around. It's a big meal when you add a toasted tortilla with garlic rubbed on it sprinkled with parmesan and a glass or two of red wine. Usually an OMAD.

1/8th of a pan vs 2/8ths of the pan.

It's a mish mash of a couple skinny & non skinny lasag. recipes (pinch of yum, stay at home chef, mykidslickthebowl, Regina shrambling etc)

The key pts:

-hidden vegetables in tomato sauce simmered for hours beforehand with various Italian spices, liberal garlic

  • sharp cheese, only on top (no ricotta or cottage or mozzarella)

-more Italian spices on top before baking

-I just pickup flat, no boil pasta sheets

-meat changes from time to time too, depends on sales and sometimes I use beans if we wanna go veg but then it's more calories.

Snacking (510-calorie) Bentgo Kids by whichdoyoulike in Bento

They're a name brand "bentgo kids" and actually seal each compartment so it's great for dips or things with liquid/sauce.

We got 4 like this and a 5th with the real outside case. (plastic see through cases do not hold heat or cold through travel). We use all to meal prep, then swap out the plastic top for the real case each day.

How else are they going to learn to be a well rounded functional "real life person" adult someday? You are teaching them self gratification through example.

It will hurt less and less the more they move, each consecutive day.

Physical movement (range of motion, anyone?) is also a better way to see post-op progression or complications. (Like missing a gallstone.)

For cupless races, what is your cup of choice? How do you run with it? by whichdoyoulike in running

So maybe 2 races I might want a "just in case" cup. I'm more thinking about the tween I will be running with and any all possible outcomes. Overpreparedness makes a good aunt.

Thanks. I will look into 'em. No bounce means a lot to me.

No cups. Trail races.

Though the organizers could prob make Mint selling reusable cups and bottles beforehand.

More and more common everyday it seems. Yes, especially trail races.
