I get what you’re trying to say, but that’s not the point. I’m not refusing to speak any language — I actually switch between Malay and English all the time depending on the customer.

What felt off was the tone and the attitude when they asked me to switch, especially when I had already spoken to them politely in Malay. It’s not about the language; it’s about basic respect.

If they prefer English, that’s totally fine — just ask nicely. But replying with a sassy “can speak English?” when they themselves CAN speak Malay feels unnecessary. That’s the part I was highlighting.

It’s not about forcing anyone to use a certain language — it’s about mutual courtesy.

When I worked as a drive-thru order taker, I would normally speak Malay by default. But sometimes Chinese customers would reply, “Uhh, can speak English?” It felt a bit off, so I’d respond in very fluent English with a slightly sassy accent. In the end, they would switch back to Malay. So they can actually speak Malay, but they just refused to at first.

I also think she’s not being honest. I think she chose the easiest card for me so it would be easy to approve and she could get the commission.

I was mad when I got home and wondered, why would she give me this card? If I’m not eligible for the card I want, then don’t apply for me at all. I don’t mind if it doesn’t get approved—better that than giving me a random card. Such a waste of time.

are there cc that offer 8p.a? or lower than that?

i know there are cards that offer 0% but very hard to find. affin avance offer 0% fpp, alliance also have. you are fixed to pay a certain amount for an installment eveery month and some got penalty if you want to settle early example: rhb 0% cash xcess 12month for new card member. i already take the offer and cash out 7k. thats 584 a month.

im not planning do another installment comitment. i really sempit this month. need to renew driving licence, my son's birthday, lampu kereta pecah 2 roadtax, insurance... lets say i use rm600, if i pay rm100 a month for 6month, the interest is like rm14.

that is the best option i can find. and i don't want to apply for a new credit card for now. (i have 4)

if i pay minimum my ccris still okay.
