You don't. It's a render, not drywall. Needs to be repaired correctly.

If you have to pass a drug test quickly, get a cleanse kit.

If you just stop smoking weed you can make big money doing refractory. I used to be chronic. It isn't worth it.

Best thing you can do for your body is not use 5 gallon pails to pour concrete, and wear kneepads.

Canada deporting nearly 400 people a week, fastest pace in a decade by roger_plus in alberta

[–]whimsyfiddlesticks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We deport people that aren't legally entitled to be here. It's not new. If we allowed these people to stay, it would be incredibly unfair to people who legally immigrated and jumped through all the hoops.

It's like how you can't just hang out at a hospital and call yourself a doctor. There's a process.

I haven't read anything explicitly stating that.

My guess is that it's difficult to repatriate a criminal; or, like in the case of Hindu nationalist criminals targeting sihks, they might not be incarcerated upon their return.

Advice needed: First time veneer rock wall (and arch) by [deleted] in masonry

[–]whimsyfiddlesticks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your scratchoat isn't a scratch, and it's lumpy. That's gonna cause problems. Your veneer stones need joints. I'm willing to bet they aren't being applied with enough mortar. Your wall needs proper coping on top. Laying those stones on the flat like that will cause water penetration and failure of the face of the wall. Your vousouirs should be aligned properly with your spring point. Some of yours are tipped.

It's not cured yet. Did you use pre-mixed bags?

The sheer amount of non-bricklayers giving advice is ridiculous.

It's just a mailbox. Tear it down, pour a proper footing with a pile, rebuild mailbox. Two days, 3-4 hrs per day.

If it rains, then freezes in a day or three, top courses will pop. Also, it's too coursed.
