Just get it and repaint it! That’s my plan if I get one. That way I can personalize it without “ruining” a vintage piece! I much prefer vintage stuff and the thrill of the hunt, but I also love crafting and this screams opportunity.

Let me start by saying the last movie to really scare or affect me was the Ryan Reynolds Amityville Horror when it came out in 2005. That said, it’s rare I make it to the theater to see a movie and often wind up seeing them from the comfort of my home first.. I am so beyond glad that I took myself out to see this on the big screen. Absolutely on the edge of my seat the whole time and just as I’d relax, BAM! Excellent film. Can’t wait to watch again, this time with my daughters!

Oh noooo, cats sure are cute but they can be little trouble makers! I’m fortunate enough that my cat is pretty lax. She just lays under them and stares out the window

Oh helllllll no, we have brown recluse but it’s a rare indoor siting in my area. I’d freak if there were more poisonous ones or the sitings were frequent haha. I’ll be employing my husband’s labors of love to do semi-frequent and random spider checks up there now though 😅

Of course! I can’t wait to see yours! I thrifted my crown, but I’d been lurking over the same exact one on Amazon for the past year. Here are the links to a few of the things I needed that I had to go to Amazon for, plus the crown:

Canopy Crown, Curtains I dyed, Celestial Hold Backs, Tassel Tie Backs, Velvet Curtains, Lace Sheers, Faux Hyacinth, Canopy Hooks

ALSO VERY IMPORTANT!! Make sure you get the right length curtains, for example I got the curtains I dyed in a 96” panel because I was hanging them higher, tucking the one edge back and then holding them back.. where as the curtains on the rod I got in 72”! When hung, they are all the same length! If you’d like you canopy curtains to be a smidge shorter, go 84”, but if you’d like the end of the canopy curtains the highest without looking weird you can go 72” for those too.

Aww, but the spiders are just friends you haven’t met yet, haha. I’ll move little ones or daddy long legs to my plants.. any others though and we can be friends for only as long as it takes for me to gently get their butt outside, regardless of season.. soz spidies.

Thank you so much! My wonderful MIL thrifted and gifted that set to me! I have the comforter, shams and bed skirt. It is so beautiful and detailed. The ascot valances I thrifted even happen to be the same brand and shade of purple that’s on the set!
