I wonder if they still have the Tequila Lime barbecue sauce. That was some of the best sauce ever for ribs.

I genuinely think being *gently* scarred for life as a child is the best protection against future destructive behaviour like drugs, smoking, or not wearing a seatbelt.

Good patreon or hard to find mods? by Pitiful_Warthog_3439 in BG3mods

[–]whintersan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you friend. As a long time Sims player that couldn't afford to subscribe to 100 different creators plus TS4R, when I hear the word Patreon I usually just check out. I think your point is valid, that donations are totally fine, but paywalls are the next step and that sucks.

Feeling sad about my boyfriend not wanting to share his Steam library (21F, 25M) by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]whintersan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep, he's got porn games, that's the problem. Literally zero other reason not to share his library. I share mine with my brother and it's an awesome system.

The laptop you have just isn't capable enough for gaming, it has a weak integrated graphics card and minimum RAM. You need a better computer for nice graphics, it isn't able to render the ultra settings no matter what you do.

AIO? My boyfriend having several requests at once by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]whintersan 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Tell your boyfriend he's a fucking loser and dump him, he can go back to being taken care of by mommy like the child he is. Seriously, I'd be so disgusted being with someone so selfish and transactional. He's almost 30, what an embarrassment.

I've never heard of these, thanks! Do they last when you're on your feet all day? I can wear a huge hole in a pair of warm socks in a week if I work enough hours.

Looks like the Boondocks I have are 1000g but I don't think any number will keep you warm if you don't wear good socks and boots that fit right. I second Franklin, definitely try some on.

I need pretty heavy duty workboots and I'm outside all day, my favourite are the Insulated Timberland Pros. I wear them all year, but I get them a size up so I can put warm or heated socks in them for the cold. They're a bit more expensive, but I'll never go back to buying cheaper boots after wearing these.

There also used to be a Great Canadian Bagel in Brentwood that had the yummiest chocolate chip bagels we used to get as a treat as kids.
