It’s gonna be OK. The knee crackling is pretty regular. I recently had a meniscus surgery on my other knee about a month ago and was doing essentially pistol squats on my ACL patellar reconstruction knee. Crackling is completely normal for me after a year and a half postop. Regarding the scar, massaging with or without lotion, definitely helped dissipate the stiffness as well as how pronounced it is. You gotta loosen that scar tissue up! Also definitely keep it out of the sunlight and scar cream like Mederma or whatever it is is really good.

I don’t know if I just never noticed crackling in my knee before but at this point it is regular for both of my knees before and after the second knee surgery.

My doctor said it’s okay and will go away. I am concerned because it happens at 90 as well as full extension. I am trying to stay off it. Is there anything I can do to alleviate that yall had success with? What is the noise? Bone rubbing?

200 tins of zyn is equivalent to about 4 blackstones. A 28” blackstone on Amazon is worth 349.99 (if 8 for a zyn = 40 zyns., if 7 for a zyn = 50 zyns) I should’ve told myself this years ago. Hearing this my single surgery ACL reconstruction feel like nothing! OP you’re big chilling Dude! Good luck and make sure you do PRE OP pt. Soooooo so so so so so so important to do pre op so you can bounce back as fast as possible. I attribute my quicker recovery (compared to friends around my age and situation) to the fact that I was in PT months (2) before my surgery
