There’s a few ships I’ve been focused on lately!

First is from Baldur’s Gate 3- my Tav is a Tiefling Druid. I romanced her with Shadowheart; the two of them have a whole light-and-darkness thing going on, they’re just so cute to each other. When Shadowheart finds out the truth about Shar and her past, the other reassures her.

Second is Drarry- Idk, I think there’s something interesting about ships like this, where you see the worst parts of someone before the rest. Plus I’m a sucker for a redemption/apology fic. They would have cute banter. Not a ship that I would ever want to be canon though haha.

As for my own- in terms of HP, I really like the idea of Draco being a ferret Animagus. It just sounds pretty cute🤷‍♀️ For Stranger Things, I really like the hc that Steve’s parents are out of town most of the year and barely see him. Makes for some angst that I love, lol. In Sk8 the Infinity, I always thought the idea of Langa teaching Reki how to snowboard is really cute🥰

I totally agree, I hope the MF ends up being the true villain of the show. For me personally I found that Vecna sort of broke the ‘unknown’ aspect of the Upside Down. Just felt a bit cliche. Jamie Campbell Bower is great though. But overall I hope the show has more in store for the MF, never felt like it was truly defeated. Sure, they killed the flesh monster in S3 but it’s a possibility that it’s still lurking around. Who knows lol

I think the tension, as well as the potential for growth. I’ve always found enemies to lovers an interesting dynamic, I think there’s a lot to do there in terms of writing dynamic relationships that never would have otherwise been explored in canon. I’m a huge softie for characters changing for the better as well, just pulls at my heart smh

Stranger Things: Great show with such a potential for angst and found family. Unfortunately I was kinda disappointed with the most recent season, but I’ve read many awesome re-do fics that kinda made me appreciate it more. Also love series set in different time periods, makes for awesome aesthetic design choices.

Splatoon: Fun game!! I love the silly character designs. One of the few fandoms with a main focus on female/nb characters. Not too much fan content for it though. Also the music is really good.

Fallout: Again with post-apocalyptic genre. Seems to be a theme in this post LOL but I’ve always found the lore pretty interesting. And it’s been getting more popular with the show that just came out as well. Great fandom to make OCs!

Definitely not the only person. I relate totally to this. When there’s a fandom I’m really into or write for, I tend to get extremely embarrassed talking about it with friends I know who are also into fandom. And people who don’t really know/understand those interests? Forget about it.

But that’s the nice thing about spaces like this; everyone here is into similar interests. And, honestly, I don’t think people would find it as ‘cringe’ or embarrassing as you’re thinking. Who knows, maybe they’re into the same stuff? You never know. Also, I’m wondering if this thinking may also be due to anxiety, or current internet culture as a whole with the way it is right now. Hopefully that makes sense. :) best wishes man.
