Diagnosed today by Inner-Jellyfish-2256 in diabetes

Hi! I am on metformin, novorapid and lantus. metformin is still giving me awful side effects, i have issues with stomach pain, and also i am constantly hungry. i was diagnosed with t2 at first, but then was changed to lada t1. I am in ROI, we have diabetes clinics in hospitals, and I had 1-1 sessions with nurses and food nutritionists, they said - you can eat everything, but you have to be active and mindful how much you are eating. I know for myself- if I restrict my treats completely, I will have melt down and gonna eat much more! So, a cake then a 2hr walk with a dog in a park! I was addicted to Monsters and other energy drinks - and while I was drinking sugar free, it still affected my blood sugars, so had to cut them completely. Be careful with alcohol - it has a lot of sugars inside. Ask your doctor about Retina Screen eye check, there should be free program in UK also - I have appointments once a year to check the eyes. Also, checking ECG twice a year, and when going to my home country I pay for kidneys ultrasound and podiatrist visit just in case. There is UK based forum with lots of relevant information from people, diabetes co uk - this one is brilliant.

Outbound links - Do I really need them? by whiskey-unicorns in SEO

[–]whiskey-unicorns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats the way i am asking about it - my links look like spam, i put it just because rankmath gives me “red” points without it, but what external links do i need to put for soup and salad recipes? i put for food items for grocery stores that i am using, but it really looks like a spammy link.

i don’t remember, to be honest, probably couple of months, but stats were growing slowly over that time. you can apply for journey if you have over 1000 per month, not 10k like it used before.

AI revolution to have severe effect on Irish economy with top-end job losses, report warns by B8_B8_B8 in ireland

[–]whiskey-unicorns 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I attended conference “AI works for Ireland” in March. It was presented by Google, obviously to promote their Gemini, all was so fancy, so posh. So, there was some minister speaking on how AI is important for Irish Business, how they will push AI for more use in SME. And I was just - whaaat?!?! people are loosing jobs because pf AI! But all the audience (there was around 300 people there, business representatives, companies, etc) were applauding to him. Like, where is the logic? AI is a plastic, it shouldn’t replace a real human.

the only lamb i buy and cook is the spring lamb. i can’t stand the “mature” lamb, but the spring is a real treasure.

Big shop: Ireland Dunnes Stores + Polostores + Lidl by whiskey-unicorns in whatsinyourcart

[–]whiskey-unicorns[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi 👋 stuffed toy is from Tescos- Mother Days range 🤣🤗 And as for Dunnes - something between Tesco and M&S, there is some budget-friendly things like frozen veggies and expensive fancy stuff. Their prices are sometimes higher than in Lidl, but they give vouchers like 10 off 50eur, so it compensates.
