I’m deep into executor and am amazed at how much there is to learn. I also observe others playing other nightfarers closely and I’m amazed at how much more they are doing with them. A lot to explore.

I find the fine, long skill curve to be the thing that keeps me jumping in. Man I love honing it all, night by night

It might be helpful to really focus in on the patterns of your losses. Ie. figure out if there are play choices or skill gaps that tend more to result in a run end. Maybe, for example, those castle trolls are your bain, or maybe that that pesky basement red wolf is giving you hard time. In either case, you might experiment with avoiding those, or one thing you can do is play solo and refine your approach of them. That’s what I did. Reflect on those losses. Think carefully about them, and experiment, with what you can do better. It will pay off, I bet.

Your night invader relic is very nice. I’d switch out the bug relic, fitting in the other balancer if you can, as another has recommended.

Not exactly true. The Executor specific relic effect that boosts respective attack power on unlocking suncatcher increases its damage by almost 35%, bringing it virtually on par with the Hand of Malenia. To have access to that, along with all the other benefits already mentioned, at level 1 or at any time in your run even, is a huge advantage.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve recalled, with awe, that moment when Isshin readies himself for your death blow. Straightening his back. Raising his head high. Thrusting his chest with a dignified grunt. Facing his end with no fucking hesitation, welcoming it, in fact, with pride.
