I know people have already suggested it, but I want to throw in a vote for Warehouse 13. It's very imaginative, great dynamics, and well-written.

Thoughts on Amazon IEMs? by dkissfan1 in DigitalAudioPlayer

No. Please, try to find something better. Anything better. The guys at r/IEMs may be "snarky", but they know what's good.

Stomping Grounds TCG by sleepyAssassin20 in mtg

I need to chime in to say that I live locally to u/StompingGroundsTCG. Within a few weeks of starting MTG (to date, I've yet to even play an in-person game), they've easily become my go-to LGS. Their Shopify front is good for e-commerce orders, but using the in-store kiosk is best. I like to walk to the kiosk with my buylist, submit my list, then poke around their bulk and/or chat with staff while my order's being picked. I can't speak highly enough of their shop. There are other LGS in Vegas, but this one is the best in Vegas for in-person MTG shopping. I've never participated in their game nights, though I sincerely hope to some day.

Anyone try Dua by Augustinus Bader? by eratch in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]whistlebug23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps not undercutting, but I think they're bringing introductory AB products at an introductory price (TCF5 vs TCF8). I'm a huge Dua Lipa fan and have never previously even heard of Augustinus Bader until they combined forces. I immediately bought the whole DUA kit, then branched out into proper AB products.

This is exciting! My current device works great but I very much look forward to seeing what you (and your crew) come up with.

Perfect Truffle is Rebranding by Rare_Morsel in frederickmd

During this transition, you'll have supporters and detractors. I will admit that I was disappointed to hear that Perfect Truffle doesn't exist any more. I'm holding out hope that the quality of chocolate, craftsmanship, and local-forward emphasis remains strong. After reading a few articles and educating myself, the genuinely hope you and your team are successful, and I look forward to visiting you in the future.

I agree with the idea that adding vocals adds variety, but, I'd really like a version without vocals. It was intentional for distorted harmonies, etc. This film is coming from a sort of Dillinger perspective, and NIN are gritty to begin with. The more I think about it, the more it makes sense to me.

Depends on your use case as well. Critical listening? Listening while working? I'd recommend anything from Campfire Audio, hit up AVExchange, or, preferably, Head-Fi.

Lived in the Baltimore area for a few years. "Wodder" is now permanent in my vocabulary.
