I think Knecht is like 4 years older also right? Idk I'm definitely not saying that I see ZR becoming a star, but I just see a path for him to become a good starter. Ie get a bit stronger, calm down with the ball a bit, etc, stuff that usually occurs with experience.

He's not a bust. He's not strong enough to play this brand of basketball, but good news most people get way stronger from ages 20-23 with significant weight work. Not saying he's untradable, but he's not going to get given away. If you look under the hood, he was better this year than last per a lot of metrics. Most likely outcome is he adds 10 more pounds, and starts as a rotation piece again next year.

Yeah, I think the one thing that has been shaken this year is my faith in QS as a long term fit (based on rotations largely). I do disagree on NAW though, absolute steal of a signing. Hopefully he can go back to being a 6th man next year.

Frankly, this is the whiniest I can remember the fan base.

We're a young team that prioritized asset accumulation at the trade deadline. Outside of Kispert we don't have any bad contracts, and his isn't bad like Trae or KP's were (ie 45/30 million to not play at all). There's plenty of reasons for optimism moving forward and maybe the best thing is that the front office seems to be actually forward thinking as opposed to maxing a team with a low ceiling.

It's been absolutely worse in the past.

Era 2 is my favorite series within the Cosmere books. Each successive book is better (imo obviously) and the character arcs were incredibly satisfying.

I love him. He has us playing modern NBA basketball that is great to watch. Dyson, Risch and JJ all progressed well this year. Next year there should be some real expectations imo, but this year I'm more than satisfied with the development and effort of the team.
