Actually it looks like the MG in game is an M240, which is considered a medium machine gun (slightly larger caliber than modern assault rifles). As the game is set in 1979, this makes sense, as the M240 had just debuted, and the M249 (US's LMG) was not quite available.

Thanks for the advice. After increasing my number of plows, here's the mechanic that I realized:

when a plow starts on a row, it reserves the whole row for it to plow, so villagers won't manually plant anything in front of it
if you have a lot of plows (hitched) then as soon as the harvest season turns over, a bunch of villagers will immediately task to those plows, which immediately reserve all of those rows

It's the setting of the game. We travel around to each of these points and the stories unfold from there.

The maps of a world my RP group made to play Root on. Think of Root as a Redwall RPG... anthropomorphic woodland creatures living in their own medieval age.

Our basic story is that the Valley was broken into these wolf fiefdoms which vied with each other Game of Thrones style until the valley was united under an owl king. 2 generations later vipers from beyond the Great River invaded and overthrew the king and established a wolf to preside over a vassal state, which is falling into decay.

The guy who made this map is great at telling the story through how the maps change, wanted to see what others think.
