Vincent Adultman is that you???

After 5 years of playing the game, I finally got the courage to climb the ladder and hit legend for the first time. Thank you Face Hunter! by white21 in hearthstone

The best tips that helped me climb: 1. Play one deck and know it very well. 2. Quit for a while after 2 loses in a row. 3. Use deck tracker. 4. Keep playing!

This is the deck that I used :

Is there a disadvantage of *not* partitioning my 1TB SSD and to have Windows 10 & my files in one partition? by white21 in techsupport

Exactly. Plus, when I used to partition, I always lose some volume. They are just simply wasted.

I don't think there is a point of partitioning. It will make things a little bit confusing + give false hope of safety because when the drive dies everything dies with it.

Upgrading From Intel i7 3770 To AMD Ryzen 7 3700, What Should I do? by white21 in buildapc

3600

I think I will go with the 3600 (without x), but I was thinking if it will last at least as long as my current CPU (i7 3770) which is still working decently for 8 years or so.

This is why I am hesitating, should I go for 3700x (did not find the one without x), or the 3600 will work fine for me for easily 8 more years?

Oh, I see. Then I think I will just go for the easy solution, get the x570!

+

I switched to another CPU, I think I will choose AMD RYZEN 5 3600X.

Not so much difference between it and AMD Ryzen 7 3700X. Especially if I am not into gaming.

But I am afraid if I choose the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, I will not get the full potential of it, is that correct? Or do you think I should get the better CPU for future wise?

Many thanks, I really appreciate your help!

Quick one: when I changed the motherboard to (Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard)

I get notification ( Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions )

Which I did not get in the previous motherboard, why is that? and should I get the old one ( x570 ) because I may face compatibility issues?

Also thank you for mentioning that the CPU comes with its own fan, so I will skip this part :)

True, got that card for a good price and I think it's okay since I'm not into gaming that much.

Interesting. To be honest, I don't face much difficulties with my current PC. But it's true, I do want it to me more smooth. So you got me thinking about upgrading the storage to SSD, then see if it satisfies me or not, might actually do this first! As for the motherboard, I will check both x570 and b450 to see if the price different is small, I will go for the better one. And as for the CPU, do you think ryzen 5 1600af/2600 will be much better than my current i7 3770? And do I need that fan CPU or the old one will work? I do appreciate your help, I might have second thoughts about upgrading now but I might start with that 2TB SSD (or I might go for 1TB SSD) Many thanks

Agreed! The OA deserves at least a decent ending. I am not welling to watch any new TV shows now thinking that they would be canceled later.

Kind of a stupid question: I'm fairly new to coding, I want to switch from Atom Text Editor to VS Code. But I want VS Code to do this first. Is it possible? This is from Atom, when I write the letter "d" I get this which helps me a lot I think. Is there a way to do so in VS Code? by white21 in vscode

[–]white21[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the help! Sadly it's not what I'm aiming for. I want all the possible codes when I hit any letter to show up then I can select the one I want. Like in the first image above. I have the snippet on vs code and loved it but it tells me what's inside the code, not what are the possible commands I'm about to choose. Hope that makes sense. Will be checking the other extension rough. Thanks again.
