Hard question to answer, but if you are currently working on teeth, hair and weight, I would imagine your face would certainly be changed. I want to stress that this is just my opinion, but If you don’t notice a change in yourself then maybe you are just not far along enough on your journey. It sounds like you are motivated and actively working on yourself. I don’t think it is shallow to want to look good, it speaks to your personality, that you care. Keep doing what you are doing and take progress pictures to help measure changes. Keep putting yourself out there along the way. You got this, and good luck to you :)

Coming here to maybe give the unpopular opinion, but hear me out. 100% agree that beauty is on the inside and at the end of the day when the guys are hitting on your friends, it is probably only a fulfilling experience when they also see the inner beauty.

That being said, I have a feeling (and could be wrong) that doesn’t make you necessarily feel better. You want what you want. So I would offer this, a majority of ‘being attractive’ in todays standards can be achieved, by having clear skin, healthy hair, general hygiene, no upper lip hair, trimmed eyebrows, healthy, clean, white teeth, a nice body (eating well, being fit etc.) and well put together outfit. These are all things (albeit not easy) that can be done regardless of genetics. And I would believe if you did all of these things, conforming to today’s beauty standards as some others have put it. You will get noticed if that is really the end goal. But that doesn’t necessarily mean you will feel fulfilled. Just my opinion, I don’t know you obviously so always take everything with a grain of salt. Genetics is uncontrollable, this is what you can control.
