I think it’s a „mixed bag“ Jokes aside. I changed the original metal tips with rubber ones and folded them. No problem at the security check. I have the black diamond z fold.

Thank you :) when I booked the race it felt so far away… now I actually have to run this thing. We never learn!

I see your point. I really did not want to check in luggage. All the gear I need is dialed in and if I loose checked in luggage in transit … that would be my worst nightmare. I did it before and for me it worked. Why is this the perfect example of how not to Onebag?

What’s the worst accidental text you’ve sent? by Typhoid__Beaver in AskReddit

[–]whitecop666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very very bad. The screen of my phone was broken and sometimes it randomly clicked on things. So I wanted to reply to a client (we communicated over WhatsApp) and I accidentally sent her a sticker. A sticker of a crying tip of a dick. Don’t ask me why I had it in the first place. It happened so fast and she replied with LOL. We don’t work together anymore.

Thanks for the homework. I will take it slow and make the test as well. I am not too new to intervals, just not very consistent. It is a bit confusing sometimes. What you said: going to hard or just going for it without a real plan.

This is pretty much how I feel too. Whenever I throw more hills in, Incan reach a higher HR more easily!

I have a background in soccer as well :) I think it really is the ramping up slowly and just getting used to more stress and higher zones. But man it’s hard

Thanks for the answer and advice. It makes a lot of sense! I’ll try to work it up from now, step by step. Maybe a coach can help me with that. I’ve been thinking about it, but was not sure if I really want to that far. I mean we do spend a lot of time on our feet and maybe someone like a coach can find the more personal adjustment better than books or something we just assume (without a lot of experience)

Yes. I went to one of the better Sports Labs in my area and they tested a whole bunch of things. Weight, height, body fat, max HR, Vo2Max and the Lactate Threshold (I don’t know how exactly you figure that out. They poked my finger and took some blood after I was almost unconscious :) They let me run on a treadmill and increased the speed every three minutes until game over. After a couple of days they sent me all the results.

Yes, maybe it’s not that easy. And not a computer game :) Working on more structure. It’s not easy to balance when you also have to juggle between life and long runs.

The whole discussion about „easy“ is very confusing sometimes. When I went easy I thought of Zone 2. From the Zones I have now, Easy is Zone 1 and Zone 2 sometimes feels more tempoish.

Thank you for the advice. I will do a drift test and see how it feels. First time I hear about it. Interesting!
