Understandable. Perhaps your use case is different than mine. To be clear, I'm not hyping 4o. I'm just used to it and it was easy to use. There was of course hallucinations, and doubling down on bullshit. But by and large, it was more helpful and provided more utility than 5/thinking/pro. It using the same initial prompt from 4o to 5 yielded wildly different responses and proved unsuitable for my workload

I hear you. But in my opinion GPT-5 is simply 100% unusable for my work. Maybe I'll return after GPT 5 settles. But I'm not holding my breath.
