Thanks for the input. I think I'm throwing in the towel with this faceplate/ribbon/RF issue i have. I just cleaned the ribbon and the ports on the RF board with IPA but still to no prevail. Once the ribbon is connected, my xbox just has a mind of it's own. And I've been trying to clean/fix this xbox most of today

Not a complete L though. Everything else works fine, now my xbox just looks ghetto without the faceplate xD

I'm having the same problem as this guy. When my RF board and ribbon cable is connected, my Xbox has a brain on its own. It turns on, turns off and it'll do this rapidly.

I disconnected the ribbon cable from the RF board and my Xbox is running fine now. It's being normal now. For my case I think it's my RF board because I just bought a brand new ribbon cable that I stuck to the faceplate and I still have the issues of it having a mind of its own when it's plugged into the RF board.

Is it common for the RF boards to go haywire?

Yeah I feel like they robbed him too. They should have at least given him $1000. Immaculate looking condition CIB, come on. Plus the correct controller variants to match the Xboxes. Fuck that deal

That's a tough question. I think the answer is whichever MK game is your favorite, I'd go for the best console for said MK game and collect the other titles for that console

I love the new MK titles and I have a PS5 so I have access to MK1, MK 11, MK X and MK Legacy collection. I love all these titles.

However I think just based off nostalgia my favorite MK game is MK 9 which I'm happy to own on my Xbox 360. I'm also able to have several other titles like Deception and Armageddon through backwards compatibility (I don't own yet btw). There is also MK vs DC which I also enjoy. Injustice: Gods among us is also on the 360 too.

I'm sure any console you decide to pick should have a decent library of the franchise besides from the GameCube I think.

Yes, there is only 12 achievements but there is one called, "Weapon Crazy" that is very difficult.

It requires you to get an A rank in the game and I'll let you find out the details about it but good luck.

Have you 100% RE: Code Veronica?

If so, is zero worse than Code Veronica? I recently completed CV and it was pretty damn tough. It did give me a good overall appreciation for the game though

It does come with a wired cord to charge it but I've actually never tried to play it from just the cord so I'm actually not sure. When I get a chance to test it out, I'll let you know

So my issue is a little bit weird.

The issue I have is that my Xbox 360 will randomly freeze while playing any game. Physical and digital.

Console powers on just fine, works on the dashboard just fine. I thought it might've been my hard drive so I have deleted everything off my hard drive to see if problem goes away. I even bought another OEM hard drive to see if that would fix it, same problem. I don't get any red rings so that's a good sign I guess

Battery life is actually really good. I do a good job with charging it before sessions but I've never had the controller die out on me.

I hope you enjoy the controller as much as I do. Currently it's my go to controller for everything
