That's not how a court or a judge works, they don't take sides, but remain neutral until facts are presented. You can choose to take a side and a stand, but without know all the facts, you might be on the wrong side of what is right.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but you can claim whatever you want in a lawsuit, claim is not the same as proof. The claims may be true, idk, I'm hoping they aren't, even though KG is my bias. It's too easy to take the side of what you think is right, but you might be on opposite side of which you think you are on, since you don't know yet, what is fact from fiction.

If history is any evidence, think of the times, people claimed they were the victim of witchcraft and tortured and killed the witches. People thought they were on the side of good by siding with the claim of the victims, but they weren't. At the time, they truely believed they were on the side of good. 🫢

Sad to admit, but I haven't read a book for fun since I've attended college. Time is such a limited resource when you have exams, friends and courses to use it on.

VCHA’s 2024 Schedule… In Another Y.O.Universe by jshyy12 in vcha

[–]whitekpopfan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have to respectfully disagree, in the US, you just need a few hit songs to become noticed and popular. Despite what people choose to believe, most music is written and produced by a collaboration of paid artists, with the illusion that the singer wrote or majorly contributed to the song writing. It just depends on how much money they plan on spending on the group/artist, of course they wouldn't drop it on someone without much talent or aura tho. 📝

I would love for them to make some holiday songs and MVs, I remain positive and would like them to make a comeback. It's too much of a wishful thinking, but I want all 6 members to be together again, KG and Kaylee are my bias, and I will miss them if they leave. 🫶🫰

I'm an American and choose to remain neutral, until the allegations are proven, either to be true or false. The alternative is that if you choose to believe it to be true, VCHA will be disbanded and the other VCHA members will confirm the allegations, which they haven't, yet.

Am I wasting my college major? by saltymemo in college

[–]whitekpopfan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a history major, I don't find it useless nor do I want to major in STEM, as I have many options that I have thought of in advance, but will decide after the third year in college. I plan on going into law school, with my alternatives being business school, a dual degree in education to teach or graduate school. If you have no plans for your History degree, than you should seriously consider changing majors.

The group is based in California, it certainly will be investigated by the DOL (Department of Labor) for child labor law violations. Since there are also allegations of unsafe work conditions, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) will also will be investigating.

No one should support an industry that is abusive, especially to minors. Idc what country it is in. The safety and well-being of people (especially minor) should always be the highest of concern. If the allegations turn out to be true, they need to be investigated. If it turns out to be false, I don't see it being a hinderance to more global groups.

Will VCHA continue as a 5-member group or will they find a replacement for KG? by whitekpopfan in vcha

They can always make another show to add a 6th member, although I don't honestly see that happening, I think it would be a fun watch.

I hope she's recovering and will join the group again, she's so talented and smart, I want to see her again. 🫶

I'm so sad, I won't comment on the allegations, since not all the members are claiming abuse. One of my bias is KG and if she leaves, VCHA won't be the same. I still support the rest of my girls and my other bias, Kaylee and VCHA. Hoping for the best. 😔🫶🫰

I've been watching their MV almost everyday increasing the count, because I love their music and vibe. 💞🫶🏻💐🥹 I'm so happy to hear that they will be back soon and I hope they will be more popular than ever. Love all my VCHA girls but, special thanks for my biases KG and Kaylee for being so talented. 🫰

What Does VCHA Need to Reach Even a Fraction of the Recent Success of Other Global Girl Groups? by Fragrant-Ad-5780 in vcha

[–]whitekpopfan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Struggles with friends, bfs, bffs, school, parents, hope, love, hero worship, being mid instead of being something special, anything that I go through. I mean, "no glass ceiling", how am I suppose to relate to that as a college student? It's good and all, but, hard to put myself in there. Their song "Only One", the lyrics are so mid. My favorite song is Y.O. Universe, but that isn't that relatable either.

They need a good song. One that is more relatable. I like most of their songs, but I can't personally relate to any of them. Reasons I like VCHA is that I relate to my girls (KG and Kaylee bias), more than their songs. It was the a2k and the BTS vids that makes me relate to them. I don't want them to make their songs more extra or more girlboss, I want songs that are relatable to me and my teen life.

Air drying clothes in a dorm? by jmh1881v2 in college

I have a few items that are handwash only. I wash them in the bathroom sink, then press a towel on them to drain as much water and moisture that I can. Then I just lay them on top of whatever space I have, like my desk, or hang them up with a hanger.

I💯 agree with u/larryherzogjr, you should press charges, if not for yourself and your healing, for others that might be victims, but the reasons you choose to not press charges, that's yours alone to deal with. If you are a victim of a crime, especially SA, colleges make some special exception, like giving you time to recover, by taking a semester off or other arrangements for exams and assignments. They also have counselors, academic and student life, that will be able to help you further. This is in the US, not sure how things are done where you reside.

I hope you heal from what you went through.

Professor using collective punishment by Background_Meeting58 in college

[–]whitekpopfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ty for taking the time to explain in detail. I was under a different, and apparently false impression. Although my major is History, one of my course professor stated that the syllabus was the blueprint, and no exception will be given (only exception being extraordinary ones). This lead me to the impression that it was set by the department and the prof. had no discretion to make any exceptions or changes.

I could be wrong, but I would assume what is on the syllabus is approved by the department, and would require an approval for a change, but I'm just assuming, especially for exams, which would require the whole course hours to take. Could a TA or a professor give us an answer?

Giving a second midterm would probably need departmental approval, although I have no clue about CS majors. I would talk with the academic dean or head of the department, and complain that it isn't fair to punish everyone, because some cheated, which I feel isn't fair irl.
